People act like 2 planes didn't crash into the fucking buildings. How many people would it take to plant the explosives? How many floors had explosives? Where were they placed? Who were the people that would have planted the explosives? The only type that could pull this off are the SF types, and the ones I know wouldn't have done shit like this. And for all you out there who say diesel can't melt steel need to educate yourselves on blacksmithing because getting metal red hot makes it soft enough to be bent by hand, easily. I've seen tanker fires cause concrete bridges to fail, that fuel can't reach temperatures to melt rocks either.
Even if it did melt the beams the top 15 floors of tower one collapsing, would have been met by the equal and opposite force of the 15 floors below, thus holding them up. That's the laws of physics.
That didn't happen though, and explosive charges were seen blasting all the way to the bottom.
You can stand on an egg, but if you stomp on it you'll crush it. Your reasoning is wrong, you've confused static and dynamic forces. The momentum of the top floors made it a battering ram. Car accidents crush near the point of impact. Go pound on a soft metal stake in hard ground, you'll see peening at the impact site and plastic deformation near the top.
The dynamic load would and should have lost energy required to push the steel over tolerance for every floor encountered. I have another theory - the steel and concrete were complete substandard shit. Both towers should have been able to withstand a plane impact and fire, unless the construction of the buildings in the WTC complex used shady cheap materials. It would also explain why 7 came down due to debris and fire alone, and why the crime scene was cleaned up without any evidence preserved. It also begs the question on how many other tall buildings are in the same boat if true.

I saw a video of a mall collapse in Korea I think, the building fell after a few years, not the same thing but similar to what your saying.
