By your logic, why did they even bring a camera? They could have just brought an iPhone and a Bluetooth microphone. 1080 video already taken care of.
And say it was a staged shooting, that means planning went into it right? Who's to say that they didn't plan on bringing extra lighting.

I do. The lights can/could have been used to fix bad shadows. Or to simply give them the light they need.
Lights in reflection aren't proof enough its shot on a green screen stage.
