I really would like to see the rest of the video without the earth in the picture. The view into space must look spectacular with all the stars and stuff.

Stars are too complicated to fake. That's why the Apollo missions show no stars. We should see stars buy we won't.

See a lot of stars while standing in the sunlight do ya?

oh god. please don't make the sunshine argument. the sun is always shining in space.

How about the argument of how photography works? When there's one source of light that's brighter than others the other sources will appear dimmer. If the other sources are dim enough they won't be seen at all. Reduce or remove the brighter source and the dim ones become brighter and more visible. This is exactly how it's possible for us to view very distant stars, by blotting out other closer and brighter stars.

Here's an experiment you can try at home. Light a butane torch in the mid day sunlight. Is it bright? No, you can barely see it if at all, even when you have your back to the sun the ambient light (reflected light) is still too bright. Now walk indoors with the torch still burning. I bet you can see it very clearly then.

haha good try mate. we are talking about space. your experiment doesn't emulate space conditions so just stop embarrassing yourself.

It emulates contrast and brightness. What difference does space have to do with light?
