In retrospect, the last mod nomination thread needed more than a week of sticky time.
Let's wipe the slate clean (and no pussyfooting).
The three other non-active mods have been removed, and it's time to replace them with new mods who are, above all, unilaterally dedicated to freedom of speech.
/v/conspiracy is ultimately a free speech zone, and new mods will be expected to only remove posts that violate Rule 1 (no spam).
This thread will be stickied for three weeks (until September 28), which should be ample time for regular /v/conspiracy users to either nominate themselves or have their say.
Preference will be given to those with a cogent and recognizable voat history.

Did you look into (at all) the potential new "mods" this guy was going to throw into the mix? Go ahead, briefly look at @rodental.

Dude, they offered to help and @rodental just withdrew his nomination.
Do you want to be a mod?

Did you read his comment to volunteer or look for one moment at his account?
If you step down, yes, I would mod.

I did, found nothing suspect, and the rest of the community had an equal opportunity to do the same in the last nomination thread.

What about a low-level activity account was not 'suspect', much less the (hopefully) homourous talk about "banning shills"?
I realise @adhdferret can be a bit of an attack dog, but isn't it simply easier to just address his questions?
Speaking of ?'s:
Why do you want to mod this sub?
Do you know @rodental from Reddit?
Why not (if you care for open discussion) just open this up as a system sub, maybe hiring one [D] and a pair of janitors?

I've dropped from the running because I won't be allowed to hunt shills, but I was on /r/ for years (although I've since retired rodental on reddit). You're welcome to check /u/rodental there, it's probably a better representation of me than this acct, which is primarily a pizzagate account.
