Whereas deliberately exposing a person through private or inside knowledge may often be a despicable thing to do, exposing someone who leaves a trail on the internet is perfectly appropriate.
The Reddit conspiracy sub banned CNN because of alleged doxxing (which CNN did not do but never mind the facts). That is extremely serious anti-free speech moderator abuse. I could not oppose the first-ever banning of a major site on Conspiracy MORE!
To anyone from Reddit: the "doxxing" rule is a Reddit rule. It does not apply to the entire internet.
