I was banned from r/conspiracy today never been banned from a sub before until today. My account was 3 years old, i commented a lot but didnt post much. Ive always been pretty liberal but after the last few years of red pilling and general crazyness of the left moving further into insanity...
I was making some comment replies in regards to racial issues. I was stating racial awareness and realism, not racism. My comment was getting a lot of up votes, more than I expected. I even stated we should guard against racism and propaganda but ignoring these racial facts does not serve to help us understand each other.
I left facebook almost a year after it came out, I only recently had one for the past 3 years and I also deleted that account. Its getting harder and harder to have a diverse opinion online. Unless you are advocating killing whitey, no one wants to hear it.
Good debate here. The thing is reddit has been a virtual battlefield since CondeNast took over.
Also the increase in the use of bots has been making it difficult for individuality to rise has been apparent.
The question is this; does the online community decant from r/conspiracy to voat? Or do we hedge our bets and maintain a multi-platform channel so that no one domain can be dominated?
that certainly is the case for many of the more political subreddits such as the Donald and conspiracy for example but it is still a interesting and entertaining social network for more gentle everyday topics such as videos of cats and history porn
Hello! I run an "alt-right" sub on reddit called /r/truthleaks and it's job is to put Hillary Clinton and her ratliners in jail or at the least send them off to pasture / quarantine. They've done enormous damage to america.
I'm a propagandist, but a white propagandist. That means I try very hard to use facts, and if I get it wrong or if the 'facts change', I say so. If I took fruit of the poisonous tree and made a mistake in that process, I immediately retract and apologize.
I think it's ok to push narratives--we all do it. you just have to use the truth and facts to support your opinions and judgments. the trivium if you will logic grammar and rhetoric, plus citations. If you knowingly use bad sources, knowingly spread disinfo, then you're not a propagandist you're a gaslighter--a black propagandist engaged in a psychological war against your audience...That is unforgivable...and that is what the "real news" seems to be doing.
Their most powerful tool seems to be omissions and moving the goalpost (sensemaking). They do this on purpose and it's well beyond demogoguery
The minute SOPA happened I think a few of the more astute among us saw this coming. The american method is not to shut down dissent but to take over its leadership and steer it in a different direction.
reddit went from the vote being the expression of a persons opinion to outright censorship sprinkled with attempts at viral advertising
if an echo chamber goes uncontrolled than it is grass roots propaganda, if it is controlled than it is astroturfed propaganda. expressions of political opinion are inherently propaganda. lets face some facts, all opinions are inherently biased, thus spreading of opinions is spreading of propaganda. voat is no less a propaganda tool than reddit is, it is just different propaganda. the current real public opinion is not in harmony. the public has been successfully divided by the elite.
I like to think that goats dictate the presence and success of material here. That is, without owner/admin influence on such, and without the silencing of one polical stance to favor another. Bots get banned here, whereas bots determine what material is most seen on reddit. Reddit admins take direct actions to suppress dissenting political views whereas that does not happen here.
At present I say there is a large difference between the two.
there are legal limitations placed upon voat and the people who use voat so that certain forms of arguments cannot be used. this primarily is active calls for violence and banned pictures/video.
the vast majority of human communication is propaganda. the only human communication that is not propaganda is statements of fact (with no form of judgement over the fact). an example of a sentence that has no propaganda would be "i typed this message without using capital letters".
the term "nigger" contains a small amount of bias inherently (as was intended with the word for quite some time), so it is propaganda. however it is less propaganda than your typical MSM story is.
So if it's nearly impossible for two or more people to have a conversation without most or all of it technically being propaganda, then why point out that anything is propaganda in the first place?
saying something is propaganda is a form of propaganda. the term has gained negative connotations over time. you won't see me calling out propaganda for the most part. in fact if you comb through my comment history far enough you will find times where i admit that my own arguments are propaganda.
I was kicked off r/science for posting science, and calling out the parade of politically motivated psudoscience and outright fictitious "studies". A real circlejerk, and i watched reddit from beginning to end. They got bought out and suddenly there are all these new mods, and dirty tricks.
Me too. I still get censored there every month. I still visit to keep up with various circles, but I spend more time on voat. We will always have to change platforms to express our thoughts, mainstream be damned.
Coontown was great while it lasted. It got shut down because it was filled with too much truth about black crime statistics and black racial intelligence.
Look, if a monkey can be trained to live in a house, so can a nigger, that's all I'm saying. They don't all need to be ovened, just the untrainable ones.
For only the last 9 years too! Sickens me that it has grown as it has gotten worse, kind of like Facebook. As soon as they started shadowbanning and vote count removal, the place was fully locked down.

its just words on a computer screen. you can protect yourself by unplugging it.

So is voat, depending on what kind of nerve you hit. Pizzagate is censored, particularly for good leads/research.

Yup. We have Reddit types on here, like @HenryCorp, who moderate hundreds of subs, spam articles across them, and ban anybody who disagrees.

Remember Digg.com? Reddit is the new digg. Once your credibility is shot, it's the beginning of the end.

yes, the former (voat) is grass root propaganda where as reddit is using manipulated (astroturfed) propaganda.

Under that definition, every human communication is propaganda.
