Most mainstream media websites no longer have comment sections (Conspiracy)

I've been noticing this a lot lately, this seems a fairly recent development, a lot of mainstream media sites, including regional newspapers no longer allow comments. I'm assuming this is to suppress support for Trump or other alternative viewpoints since they don't want people challenging their narratives? Just curious what others think

Yes. The truth is reaching critical mass, and they're having to resort to more draconian measures than usual. Their paid shills are no longer useful.

What? Give me a break man! We do fine, just please dont forget to buy Clorox wipes that kill 99.9% of germs or i'll be out of a job. (Gotta meet that quota! Hail corporate!)
