Is it an under the sink system or point of entry system? How much was yours? Been wanting to get one as I'm currently buying a house but haven't done too much research yet, any brands in particular you recommend ?
Reverse osmosis. Buy a couple 5 gallon glass carboys (jugs) off of craiglist. You go to the grocery store and fill them up, but some of the machines don't work as well as others, you can taste the difference. I would avoid Glacier RO systems, they were shown to be poor in filtering performance and were sued because of it.
Kings used to live close to the source of water and the poorer you were the farther you were from the original source of fresh water. I can't believe people don't invest a little time and money into cleaner water considering its massive impact on physiology including the shit that is in tap now a days. Drinking tap is not only insane it will make you insane, if you don't use a filter you are the filter and there is some nasty pharma shit ready to bounce around your brain.
Does anyone else remember getting fluoride tablets in school? Anyone remember getting shots from the school nurse? I lived on a military base overseas, so maybe that's why we got those things from school, but maybe it was a feature of early 90s public education. I don't know.

"No evidence brushing without fluoride prevents tooth decay".
This is a bald faced lie. There is a ton of evidence that shows that any brushing works.

Over 40, zero cavities.
I have avoided fluoride, actively, since the age of 15.
When I was on city water I used my RO system, the only way to remove fluoride.
Again. Over 40 years of age, zero fluoride, zero cavities.

I'm on a 500' deep well now, I just Berkey it, but it really doesn't need it.
I used an under sink model, and a fluoride reducing shower filter.
You want something manufactured in North America, Korea, or Japan.
Do not buy anything from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc.
