-GM foods are poison (most corn, soya, beets, canola oil).
-Sugar wrecks your metabolism so does bread, stick to natural, whole food carbs.
-processed oils are just as bad as sugar, stick to butter, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, lard and use dont be scared of fat.
-The soil is depleted and as such, we are all deficient in magnesium and sometimes other minerals too. All bodily reactions with atp (the bodies fuel source) require magnesium, feeling fatigued a lot? more magnesium.
-Unless you live where you get a tan, supplement raw cod liver oil and an oil based vitamin D supplement as vitamin D is actually a hormone and is responsible for 80% of all genetic expressions. equally important are the other fat soluble vitamins (A,K) unless eating grass fed and organic you need more
-synthetic vitamins are not the same as food form, they do not contain the co-factors, enzymes and other neccessary components and often times the synthetic form is not the same at all (example, ascorbic acid is not true vitammin c, folic acid is not true folate etc)
....need any advice or questions answering ask, I'm a dietician.
Tell people to watch "Farmers footprint", it's about farmers getting back to a natural way of growing food and not using all the antibiotics on livestock and pesticides on plants that big pharma push to farmers. It also talks about the links they've found between the increase of the use of said pesticides to an increase in cancer.
1) Stop eating so god damn much.
2) Break a fucking sweat a few times a week.
3) Reevaluate your meal schedule. Are you hungry, or is it just “time” to eat?
Consider the modern diet and lifestyle as compared to diets and lifestyles 100 or 1,000 years ago. Since when have meals been consistent and scheduled?
Get off anything with high amounts of polyunsaturated fat. Very unstable, most cooking oils fall under this category, and a lot of the shit you eat is made with canola/corn/vegetable oils. The problem is that they denature in light and are loaded with deodorizers so you can't tell if it's rancid or not. Avoid these oils like the plague, it's why walnuts go bad so quickly. In addition to becoming rancid they also have high amounts of free radicals especially when used for cooking.
I would suggest you take any advice you get here with Extreme Caution as none of these people are experts on this and everyone has a different opinion on such matters. All bodies react to Foods differently, people like me feel great of a high carb diet While others feel better on a low-carb diet. Just stay away from the stuff we all know is universally bad and then find out what works best for you.
Eating vegetables every day is not natural nor is eating 2lbs of meat daily. You can have food allergies and not even be aware of them. Restaurants often are dirty and use too much salt.
Carbs aren't bad in and of themselves, but they put on weight much faster then anything else. If you work hard to burn it off then it's not a huge issue. Stuff that comes from an animal (fat, meat, etc.) is probably more healthy for you though.
I developed Meniere's disease in the late 1980s. They told me it was because of sodium. It took me years to figure out it was specifically sodium nitrate and sodium phosphate used to preserve meats. Lunchmeat, sausages, bacon, jerky all forbidden now. I have found uncured bacon and ham which is ok. If you have hearing loss and/or vertigo, Meniere's may be your problem. Over the years it can get severe. Let me tell you, vertigo really can be harsh. You might want to limit you intake of these preservatives.
If I were a Kike or one of their slaves, I would create or come to threads like this to spread disinformation to my enemies. Multiple accounts, all agreeing with each other, just saying...
Whey protein is good, but don't take it with sucralose and try to avoid any other artificial sweeteners. For me, a little bit of stevia seems to be fine with whey. Meat and fat are great for the body. Moderate amounts of caffeine seem to be fine
This is all solid advice apart from maybe the "OILS" bit, which is mostly true. Most cooking oils are garbage. Avocado, Coconut and Olive stand out for me as exceptions.
Aflatoxin is an EXTREMELY carcinogenic compound and we consume it through corn fed animals. It is probably the largest single cause of cancer next to smoking.
A single serving of cured meat or food that is nitrited, is equivalent to smoking 2 PACKS of cigarettes, in regards to carcinogens. This was shown in an old study, I think from 70's or 90's.
I was in the same boat. I was vegan for a hear then vegetarian for a year. I finally came back to meat and the second I swallowed my first bite of red meat my entire body sort of sighed a sigh of relief. I then jumped on the me to train but not very strict. I went from eating, the normal 3 times a day,to now eating dinner after work and im hardly ever hungry.
My advice? Start simple and rotate every month. Try eating red, meat and cooked onions. Liver, steak, etc. Then see how you feel. Avoid sugar, focus on high fat, good amount of,protein and little carbs. You,need like 10 or 20 g carbs for your brain but if you eat onion amd, peppers your fine. Just use simple ingredients and make slow changes, your body adjusts over time, not right away. Also add iodine,to,your diet. I use see salt with iodine and I use a shit ton, blood pressure is perfect. Last and most, important thing, drink water every day. I,drink 1.5 to 2 gallons a day. Usually about 1/2 pot of coffee and the rest straight water
Eat red meat and salt with iodine. Choose your diet in a way that is consistent with your heritage and is agreeable with, your body. Cook most veggies well and meat too. Focus in fat, then protein, then very few carbs as far as macros. Eat the occasional pepper, onion, tomato, etc amd you'll,be fine. Eat steak with the bine in it and eat the marrow, that's even better than fat for, you. Liver is also very tasty and packed with good nutrients. Avoid sugar like the plague, even fruit and anything that is on a shelf in a box. I personally avoid chicken and, pork because they cannot, process certain heavy metals and chemicals so they become sponges. Plus pig flesh is just freaky close to,human and, freaks,me out haha. Bacon is amazing, though
Iodine being taken out of salt led to thyroid problems, making it harder for most people to properly metabolize a changing diet.
Take iodine supplements.
Also, obesity is caused by a gut infection. To cure it, simply refer ain from eating for a few days. The next day, consume meaningful amounts of citric acid (remain hydrated throughout). On the third day, take a strong probiotic while again remaining hydrated. From then on, eat ONCE PER DAY. No snacks after dinner, no "breakfast". No, just one meal at one time per day. Activating your metabolism more often will likely disrupt your healthy weight if done with any regularity. You can eat as much as you want until you're full for this one time but otherwise you should refrain. You will then watch the weight quickly fall off.
Gluten sloughs off intestinal lining, vilii. Alot of obesity can be traced back to the resulting malnutrition caused by malabsorption of nutrients by the damaged gut.
Granulated sugar(sucrose) is half glucose, half fructose, one tiny chemical bond combines them and it instantly gets cleaved in your liver treating it just like you got one molecule of each per molecule of sucrose. Glucose is the sugar in fruit, it usually comes with an appropriate amount of fiber to act as a metabolic balance on that sugar, fructose doesn't exist in nature on it's own, granulated sugar is processed from beats and sugar cane mind you.
Fructose is basically poison by weight and any fructose you eat will end up as fat at basically the same weight of it you consumed.
The number one cause of obesity is sugared drinks, basically all of the sugar gets processed by the liver directly into fat and most of it goes into your visceral fatty layer which is the less healthy way to carry fat.
I'm on mobile now but I think the source for this is called "the sugar deception" a talk by an expert in the field.
It's a bit dated and so I'm a bit out of the loop on how my Boomer juice (0cal monster) is processed, the primary sweetener is erithritol, if anybody has info about that sweetener or other synthetic sweeteners the info would be greatly appreciated.
this is a fantastic video from a pediatrician about the very convincing correlation between the rise of obesity in children and adults compared to the introduction of high fructose corn syrup into our foods. long story short, hfcs contains about a third more sugar per gram than natural cane sugar does. when it became cheaper to produce than natural sugar (thanks to government subsidies on corn), corporations began incorporating it into our every day foods. the problem is that they did not adjust their measurements to the spike in sugar content, so americans are consuming way more sugar than previous generations.
That method is to test how well your health is doing, relative to what you're eating. Switch up your diet, from time to time, and keep a food diary. Are you gaining too much weight? Losing too much muscle? Is your average heart-pressure/rate going up, or is it stabilizing? What food makes you lethargic and bloated? What food makes you energized and focused?
Every human body is different, and methinks this a large portion of the dilemma in that no one diet will be perfect for everyone. We're all so physiologically different that it'd be stupid to think so. Kinda like how people of different ethnicities need different medication for similar ailments— we evolved to eat different food. My suggestion would be to look in to what types of food your ancestors traditionally ate, throughout their history, and eat that. I'm Not A Doctor™
If you pay attention, you can feel the signs from something literally as simple as switching your fast food order from a burger and fries to a double with no fries. Seriously, try it, and be amazed at the impact that just that has on your comfort and hunger levels after the fact.
Pasture-raised “grass fed” beef has healthier fat than “grain fed” or “grain finished” beef. It’s a matter of preference but I think grass fed tastes better too.
You need iodine, especially if you're still drinking fluoridated water. The used to put it in bread, and then stopped and replaced it with bromide. Then they put it in salt. Then they slowly reduced the amount of iodine in salt so it no longer has enough to be considered a suitable source.
Seriously, It saves money, its actually fun and interesting, Girls cream their jeans for guys who can cook, it's healthier and honestly, it's actually really fucking easy.
Cooking is a skill, no different from any other skill. Playing an instrument, hunting, fighting, painting etc are also skills. Being good at useful stuff is good.
Subbed. I don't have a garden or anything but just a few minutes there and I was reading some interesting stuff. Gardens may make a huge comeback in the not too distant future if things keep going the way they are. Come to think of it, I haven't had a tomato that actually tasted like a tomato in a damn long time.
Everyone I know, who constantly eats out, is always bitching about the price of food. And here I am, eating like at a fancy restaurant— every night, for something like $5 per meal. Got money problems and eat out more often than not? Solve them by cooking at home. You'll suck at first and fuck up a lot of food. Eat your burnt toast and keep practicing. Eventually, you'll get to the point where even Gordon Ramsey would give you a nod and a wink. You're gonna do it for the rest of your life— might as well git gud.
I recently got a crock pot and it's stupid easy to make delicious meals over the course of a day by simply dumping the ingredients into the pot and waiting. I'm getting good at meal prep now as a result.
As far as I'm aware, there's no test for it. That's either a problem or, more likely, an out. The doctor can then prescribe endless scripts to treat the myriad symptoms.
It's a spectrum of sensitivity. Also, it's not an allergy that those skin tests would show. Supposedly, about 95% of humans are sensitive to gluten, but those on the lower (less sensitive) end might not believe they are bc they have very few symptoms. Those at the upper end would have celiac disease (that can be tested by blood or biopsy of gut lining - which gluten attacks. When someone has bad "dandruff" or eczema, that's what gluten also does to the gut "skin". They claim dandruff and eczema and arthritis is an autoimmune condition where the body's own immune system attacks the cells and causes inflammation. Again, since it is a spectrum, people will elicit different responses, some may have leaky gut but no eczema, etc) and must not even touch, breathe odors of, or have contact with people or pets that are ingesting or touching gluten.
Tracing digestive disorders back in history, gluten sensitivity symptoms can be seen to arise suddenly with and after the Egyptians' adoption of wheat as a staple crop. Millet had preceded it among farming cultures and has no gluten. Buckwheat (not a wheat) and rice also lack gluten. Growth of diabetes also can be traced to wheat culture. Gluten, by attacking the gut lining, attacking the vilii responsible for absorbing nutrients from digested food, can cause malnutrition - something obese and diabetics often suffer. How can a fat person be malnourished? Since the body is starved of nutrients (not calories), it sends hunger signals and the person continues to eat -- food containing gluten, which continues to destroy the gut's lining. Plus, wheat is a carb, easily converted to sugar. Obese people are trapped in a cycle, trapped by doctors addressing their symptoms for profit.
Corn syrup and artificial sweeteners. Sugar isn't great for you but it's way better than this shit. And they're in almost everything. It's one of the reasons processed food is bad for you. Almost all of it has artificial sweeteners and it's all bad for you in various ways. For example, lots of artificial sweeteners cause cancer or cause problems because they don't disgust properly. Most also make you crave more sweets.
Corn syrup has to go through the liver, while sugar goes directly into the blood stream. Sugar can make you fat but corn syrup makes fat form around your organs causing fatty heart or liver. And people wonder why America has an obesity problem when this shit is in most of our food.
this is a fantastic video from a pediatrician about the very convincing correlation between the rise of obesity in children and adults compared to the introduction of high fructose corn syrup into our foods. long story short, hfcs contains about a third more sugar per gram than natural cane sugar does. when it became cheaper to produce than natural sugar (thanks to government subsidies on corn), corporations began incorporating it into our every day foods and beverages. the problem is that they did not adjust their measurements to the spike in sugar content. so not only did it make junk food cheaper than ever before, but americans are consuming way more sugar than previous generations without even realizing it.
Corn syrup in all it's forms is bad. And since it's in everything,it's hard to avoid unless you make everything yourself from scratch. And at that point, why even bother with corporate products?
Partially hydrogenated oil, or trans fat, attaches to your cell wall like normal fat but isn’t as flexible so it actually traps cell waste inside and prevents your cells from disposing of it. That also prevents nutrients from entering your cells. Normal fat molecules aren’t rigid so they bend to allow this transfer of waste and nutrients.
Carbs are shit for the body. Not only do they cause a massive insulin response which can lead to you getting the beetus but that reaction also leads to this new immediately usable energy being immediately stored as fat if you don't instantly burn it off. If that wasn't bad enough carbs actually cause you to get hungrier which can easily lead to you eating more food than you otherwise would and once you're a fatty fat arse your body is going to want to maintain that increased amount of calories you've been consuming making it a doubly whammy for when you're trying to lose weight.
You're literally an addict on them which is why the food industry promotes carbs while demonizing fats. You don't have to go full keto but if you're going to consume carbs for the love of god only have them before working out to fuel the work you're going to do.
carbs actually cause you to get hungrier which can easily lead to you eating more food than you otherwise would
Cannot be emphasized enough. Once you start cutting carbs, you realize how true this is. The last time I had a Pop Tart I was shaking with hypoglycemic hunger 2 hours later. The last time I had bacon and only bacon for dinner, I forgot to eat the next day because I didn't get hungry. Desire for potato chips and other snacks is directly tied to carb intake. Have a carby meal, get munchies later. Eat carby snacks, get munchies later. Eat a fatty meal, and you'll actually get less hungry over the next few hours than when you stopped eating. You'll feel no need to eat until it's time for a real meal again.
Not enough people know how bad carbs are for you. The are a key factor in creating insulin resistance and, therefore, T2 diabetes. You can cure T2D with fasting and coming off carbs. It doesn't even take that long. I've seen it first-hand.
More specifically hops. Men have been drinking beer for thousands of years, it's older than bread. But those juicy hoppy IPAs that give you tits and soy beard have only been around the last 10-20 years
upvoted not cause I know for sure whether you know what you're talking about or not I just liked the way you phrased it. (and I do like soy sauce)
What about refined soy oil? I have a fryer (I know bad but whatever) that I use canola in but recently one of my kids has developed a sensitivity to the smell of it saying it smells like horrible rotten fish (this is a real thing with canola for some people I've read about) and soy oil is quite a bit cheaper than canola.
From my own investigation, fermented soy products are all totally safe, and super-good for you.
Fermented foods are a great source of nutrition.
I presume the soy products you are referring to would have to be organic, or at least pesticide free in order to not inhibit fermentation (I have no personal experience here as I've only fermented organic or wild harvested foods) and I recommend avoiding non-organic soy at all costs. It's nasty stuff.
My guess is a diet revolving mostly around fish. With the amount of plastic getting thrown in Chinese waters, fish nowadays isn't as nutritious as the salmon your ancestors would fight bears for.
Too much protein without enough fat can lead to death. It's called "protein starvation" or "rabbit starvation." Fat is a necessary thing we need in our diets.
Exactly. Our brain is mostly fat (cholesterol) & water. Testosterone is almost all cholesterol. Taking statins suppresses cholesterol production by the liver, hence: doctor will often prescribe T pills. You get limp dick AND dementia.
I work on an organic farm, and have worked in multiple produce department's. Organic on a small scale is fucking near impossible, but through hard work, determination, sweat, and long hours, we manage to make our produce 100% organic. We even use bug spray that you can eat, because it's actually just bug irritant like cayenne, garlic, lemongrass, and other edibles. That being said, the most commercially grown food can be organic, is ninety percent. Store bought organic food is always only partly organic. Always!
Not always. Some organic certifications are there to ensure your food isn't genetically modified in any way, or grown with the use of GMO-specialized pesticides, which can-and-will be absorbed in to said fruit and veggies. A lot of organic stuff is bullshit, I'll give you that. Just do your research.
Tap water is shit, regardless of what communists say. Bottled water is also shit. A good (Brita is as well shot) water filter is essential to survival and flourishing life.
What's a good water filter I can actually get? I live in a tiny apartment in a city (I know, I know) and my options are limited. I have a PUR filter on my kitchen tap I get drinking water from, and aside from making the water taste better, I have no way to tell if I'm just pissing in the wind.
Well water is usually pretty good, but be wary if there's a lot of major agriculture or industry nearby, as they can pollute the groundwater in different ways.
Scientists have spennt tens of millions in man y studies using double blind food in isolated two week retreats of gluten whiners to prove GLUTEN SENSITIVITY IS A MENTAL ILLNESS!
96% of people claiming they are positive that they have GLUTEN SENSITIVITY are in fact LIARS!
Yet no matter how many gluten science papers on gluten mental illness you print out and hand out to these insane entitle nuts, they say "but I am the 4% that get digestive issues! I really AM not lying! I'm special, I'm not deluded!"
Make sure you don’t undereat in your feeding windows. I know many people who fucked themselves because they simply didn’t eat enough. The clear head and the fat loss during fasting can be addictive.
16/8 fasting for a year now. Dropped about 50 pounds, but the big difference is in body shape. I'm not soft anymore. First time I've ever had real definition.
Fasting pulls out all the fat and garbage that is hiding in your system. Plus, it's free. Just stop shoving crap in your face. Couldn't be easier.
And - your brain loses the fog.
Lastly... stop eating carbs. Carbs are just sugar.
I fasted for a week last year. Only water and freshly made vegetables juice. Was amazed how smooth my articulations became. Also had crazy vivid dreams when sleeping after 2-3 days of fasting.
Sort of, but a liquid fast allows your intestines etc to clean out entirely, all the undigested gunk and shit gets expelled, so it's still really good for you and it's pretty much impossible to live an entire week without any source of energy.
There are different types of "fasts" these days. It seems the definition has warped over the years to mean, "I'm only gonna consume this one thing for a set amount of time." At most, though, if you really want the benefits of a fast— is to only drink water and consume nothing else. No overpriced organic juice, no tea, no sugary liquid multivitamins, etc.
I will. I did it recently so im gonna wait s bit before I try again.
I could have gone longer I just had decided to do 3 days. Do you drink veggies just to have fiber? I would just add some salt to water and only had that
I had only water. I'm not sure why fiber in particular would be necessary. I don't know about adding salt to water. What's the idea behind that? I could get behind some simple additive. The biggest problem for me is the lack of energy, especially mental. If there was something I could do to get a real fast while also keeping my mental energy up, I'd be for it.
I add salt because I figure if I'm only drinking water, I don't want to flush my system and become dehydrated. (I continue to work out and exceecise while doing it)
Mentally, I did feel a bit different so I feel ya know the lack of energry thing, bit I wonder how much of that is just in my mind rather than an actual effect of needing energy.
Spirulina is amazing. Contains mostly everything your body needs and is very nutrient-dense.
If you don't eat fish get an Omega-3 supplement.
Veganism sucks. Meat is especially a good source of iodine and you need that shit.
Maltodextrin spikes your blood sugar like crazy. Especially avoid protein powders with this and other fillers if you use those. Personally I find xantham gum acceptable in small (<0.5%) amounts but that's it.
In my experience things like dairy sensitivity can be reduced with unpasteurised honey. It helps balance your gut bacteria.
I'm lactose intolerant. Yogurt is fine. Kefir milk is also good (its basically yogurt). And some hard cheeses like Swiss have little to no lactose. I only use butter, never oils.
I know about the benefits of spirulina but alot of qhat im reading lately about it, states it is not as safe as before due to being high in radiation...
Xantham gum isn't a sweetener. It's a thickening agent. Also that shit about unpasteurized honey balancing your gut bacteria is retarded nonsense. Maltodextrin spikes your blood sugar because it's literally fucking sugar.
Corn is sprayed with roundup. That's also how it gets into your vaccine shots (directly into bloodstream). They feed it to pigs, it collects in their cartilage, that's harvested to make agar for culturing virii.
Bpa leeching from plastics, companies lying about it and not being held responsible by anyone. Grain farmers spraying crops with pesticides just before harvest to make it all die and dry out so its easier to harvest and sending unkown amounts of glyphosphate to markets. Animal fats are good for you, its populllarly thought of as bad largley due to soft drink companies marketing campaigns. The usuall endocrine disrupting and carcenogenic shit from trace pesticide and herbicide residues, blah blah blah.
Plastics :

Couldn't find anything on meat but a bit of intuition and you'll notice anyone that isn't a limp biscuit eats lots of meat and stays away from vegan stuff.
Not only apples, most "organic" stuff at the supermarket is coated with a petroleum-based waxy substance that basically seals the entire fruit from the air so it takes so long to spoil. It also makes the fruit appear shinier so you want to buy it more.
That incredibly shiny fruit does the opposite for me. When I see all those shiny apples in the store that look like brand new cars in a car saloon, I immediately know something is wrong, because no natural fruit looks like that. Those apples with small imperfections and stains, that's where the real shit is at
They put a thin wax coating on most apples to make them look shiny and appatising so that would seal in the pesticides if they were on the skin I assume.

Thank you. When it comes to plastic, my uncle always says “Plastic is our generations asbestos”. I say the same about WiFi. Haven’t taken the plastic pill yet but my dad used to be a conservative 10 years ago and he consumes tons of bottled water, processed sugars, low-quality meats, and network television. The other day he said a Mudslime was “brave” because he was doing his floor licking in a parking lot. I told him he probably wouldn’t feel that way if he had a daughter instead of a son.
get a filter. reverse osmosis systems aren't too bad these days. We have a tabletop unit that works well, but honestly next time I'd just install one in the sink. The tabletop unit is good for renters since you don't need to modify the house or apartment.
Look up Dr Joel Wallach. I cured my gluten-caused illnesses by cutting out wheat (plus rye, barley, oats). Dr Wallach I discovered after, but he confirms and extends the knowledge of the food poisons even further.
No, protein should be your main source. It's what animals are mostly made of. Fat is just a supplement. To be in ketosis constantly is to lose muscle and have low testosterone.
To actually metabolize protein into glucose for cellular respiration, you have to eat twice your body weight in grams of pure protein a day. That would be at least a few pounds of meat a day.
You can ingest far less and still gain muscle. Most of that meat people are eating is consumed by nitrogen-utilizing bacteria. IIRC, the gut microbiome is 4x as sensitive to nitrogen surplus/excess as it is to basic non-nitrogen substrates in vegetables, like cellulose and indigestible polysaccharides. Only some 30% reaches the liver, and that’s plenty if you’re getting the glycine that you should be getting from the collagenous tissues that make up the rest of the animal. Muscle tissue is constantly recycling proteins, so if you can suppress the degradation of muscle proteins (plenty of vit D, A, K, glycine) you will need less to achieve the same. Some anabolic steroids like oxandrolone are such bad androgen receptor ligands and AR gene expressors that people wondered how they even helped build muscle. Turns out they are just really good at stopping muscle protein degradation.
No, it shouldn't. Not unless you want severe constipation. Some people go full retard on protein consumption and find this out the hard way eventually. It's just not necessary to eat that much protein for 99% of people -- all you get is diminishing returns, awful smelling flatulence and a fibre deficiency. Protein is important, but taking it too extremes is just as retarded as overeating carbs or fat.
How can raw meat be easier though? Heat treatment denatures proteins into smaller peptides and single aminos, which makes them less immunogenic and easier to absorb into the blood. You can probably live on 30g of pure EAA powder because it’s all absorbed within the first 2ft of the intestine. The protein utilization from cooked food is already quite poor, and you can smell it for yourself if you spend time around a bodybuilder. I just don’t see how raw can be easier.
I agree with this. You should be eating high protein for lean muscle mass. I personally think you should limit carbs to no more than 150 in a day, and preferably be around 100 or so. This allows for a few pieces of fruit and plenty of greens. The only fat you should be eating is from meat, fruits/veg like avacaodos, and small amounts of olive/avacado/coconut oil.
One-rule-fits-all decrees like this are everywhere on the internet and they're universally retarded. People should experiment and eat whatever best suits their genetics. What works well for you might be awful for someone else. Making decrees like this is just the "food pyramid" all over again, except with even less credentialed proponents...
This is untrue. Look into your ancestry for what you should eat. Eskimos eat primarily fat and blubber and little else. Fat has much more nutrition for your body. I think,k listening to your body and knowing historically what your peoples have eaten is the most important thing to,do.
I said to find out what, your ancestors ate and go,from there. My overall point is that there isnt one race that survives in vegetables alone but tyere are ones that survive in fat alone. Point being choose your, food by your heritage and dont avoid fat. God damn voat has really, gone downhill, unless I spell every little, thing, out, you, guys dont, get,it
The intuit population has a distinctly different genotype which, no doubt, has been shaped by their ancestral diet opportunities. Not all races are equal, and not all races should eat the same things. It isn't necessarily true that what works for an extremely isolated population who lives in an extreme environment (equals increased evolutionary rate) will work for every human on the planet.
Also, how healthy are Eskimos really? There is a lot of evidence to support the claim that they are less healthy. Due to their high fat diet, they are exposed to more fat soluble compounds (such as DDT and mercury), which bio-accumulates gradually and has awful long term effects. Young intuit mothers are actually encouraged not to breast feed because the toxins pass into breast milk and pose a threat to their child's development.
I'm not saying that you are wrong about fat being healthy. I am saying that Eskimos make pretty poor evidence of that.
Holy fuck, you don't know how to read do you? The Inuit are an isolated genetic population who are unrelated to most people on the planet. Therefore it is extremely unlikely that they are our ancestors. Their high intake of fats create toxic compound build up (natural and man made) in their bodies which lead to bad health effects. Fat cannot provide water soluble compounds and water cannot provide fat soluble compounds. We need both in order to be healthy.
It doesnt matter what percentage they are, haha. It isnt about where your born, its in your genes. If your genes are northern Italian eating red meat amd dairy is the staple food versus say Sicily who eat mainly fish. This makes a difference. Your a liberal kike if you deny genetics determine what you are
No. You're a liberal, sure, but you aren't kike unless you are a kike. Converts don't even count as real kikes. Be punctual, dont be like them, using catch-all buzzwords to denegerate your enemy.
I don’t think we need that much meat to begin with. If you were eating a variety of tissue types, you’d be getting a complete amino acid profile. Muscle meat is high in sulfur aminos and low in proline and glycine, which are found mostly in joints, bone and connective structures like skin and tendons. Glycine is powerfully anti-catabolic and sensitizes muscle tissue to the anabolic amino acid L-leucine.
The astounding , citation packed pop science book, "THE BIG FAT SURPRISE Why Butter, Meat & Cheese Belong in a Healthy Diet" is a jaw dropping audio book. Avoiding fat is damaging to humans.
That’s because of the Randle cycle. The cell preferentially uses glucose first. Glucose inhibits the mobilization of fatty acids from adipose tissue into the blood. But you will soon run into problems if you’re blood is full of fatty all the time as well. If you want to lose weight you have to allocate fat loss periods between feeding periods. This is why intermittent fasting works so well for many people.
If you eat fat and carbs at the same time, yes you'll gain weight - but that's the standard diet, isn't it? Keto is stepping outside of that and just not eating the carbs.
I went from 90 kg to 75 kg simply by keto and daily walks.

Vegetable oils contain too much omega-6 fatty acids and very little omega-3s.
This is important because they are precursors to enzymes that regulate inflammation.
Our ancestors ate a diet that was about 4:1 omega-3:omega-6. Modern western humanity is now about 1:4.
The worst oils are: sunflower, safflower, almond, soybean, peanut, corn, and walnut.
tokui ago
Right. Veg oils oxidize, cause inflammation - arterial damage. Inflammation, the precursor to cancer.
Simonsaysgoat ago

You will then watch the weight quickly fall off.
tokui ago
Gluten sloughs off intestinal lining, vilii. Alot of obesity can be traced back to the resulting malnutrition caused by malabsorption of nutrients by the damaged gut.
Obrez ago

You need iodine, especially if you're still drinking fluoridated water. The used to put it in bread, and then stopped and replaced it with bromide. Then they put it in salt. Then they slowly reduced the amount of iodine in salt so it no longer has enough to be considered a suitable source.

tokui ago
As far as I'm aware, there's no test for it. That's either a problem or, more likely, an out. The doctor can then prescribe endless scripts to treat the myriad symptoms.
waterniggas ago
can't they just scratch your skin and rub some wheat into it?
tokui ago

And people wonder why America has an obesity problem when this shit is in most of our food.
invisiblephrend ago

Gringoyim ago

I started intermittent fasting a few weeks ago and it has been life changing. Added keto and I feel 20 years younger.
getshanked ago
Make sure you don’t undereat in your feeding windows. I know many people who fucked themselves because they simply didn’t eat enough. The clear head and the fat loss during fasting can be addictive.
BAAC ago
16/8 fasting for a year now. Dropped about 50 pounds, but the big difference is in body shape. I'm not soft anymore. First time I've ever had real definition.
Fasting pulls out all the fat and garbage that is hiding in your system. Plus, it's free. Just stop shoving crap in your face. Couldn't be easier.
And - your brain loses the fog.
Lastly... stop eating carbs. Carbs are just sugar.
NotHereForPizza ago
Don't mention this around any fatties. They get spiteful and deranged really quickly, thinking you're cheating or something.
They need to realize they simply have poor impulse control.

They do anyway, though. You might as well make it worthwhile and do what you want to do, rather than catering to their insane demands.

Le_Bucheron ago
I fasted for a week last year. Only water and freshly made vegetables juice. Was amazed how smooth my articulations became. Also had crazy vivid dreams when sleeping after 2-3 days of fasting.
middle_path ago
Doesn't it stop being a fast if you are ingesting calories?
awakeawareinma ago
Sort of, but a liquid fast allows your intestines etc to clean out entirely, all the undigested gunk and shit gets expelled, so it's still really good for you and it's pretty much impossible to live an entire week without any source of energy.
middle_path ago
It's definitely possible to go an entire week without food/calories. The energy comes from burning your own fat storage.
awakeawareinma ago
While holding down a job?
Have you ever fasted for an entire day before? lol
After day two with no food most westerners would lose it entirely.
middle_path ago
Depends on the job honestly. I've definitely fasted through an entire shift at a desk job. I even do until noon and I do landscaping.
It takes practice, but is honestly quite easy.
TheTrigger ago
There are different types of "fasts" these days. It seems the definition has warped over the years to mean, "I'm only gonna consume this one thing for a set amount of time." At most, though, if you really want the benefits of a fast— is to only drink water and consume nothing else. No overpriced organic juice, no tea, no sugary liquid multivitamins, etc.
mentalbear ago
I'm on a long-term see-food fast.

Impressive. The longest I've done is 3 days
Gringoyim ago
I've done 5 days, and the second and third day were the worst by far. 4 and 5 were easy, comparatively. Give it another shot.
Trousersnake1488 ago
I will. I did it recently so im gonna wait s bit before I try again.
I could have gone longer I just had decided to do 3 days. Do you drink veggies just to have fiber? I would just add some salt to water and only had that
Gringoyim ago
I had only water. I'm not sure why fiber in particular would be necessary. I don't know about adding salt to water. What's the idea behind that? I could get behind some simple additive. The biggest problem for me is the lack of energy, especially mental. If there was something I could do to get a real fast while also keeping my mental energy up, I'd be for it.
Trousersnake1488 ago
I add salt because I figure if I'm only drinking water, I don't want to flush my system and become dehydrated. (I continue to work out and exceecise while doing it)
Mentally, I did feel a bit different so I feel ya know the lack of energry thing, bit I wonder how much of that is just in my mind rather than an actual effect of needing energy.
Either way, it's interesting to take part it

Spirulina is amazing. Contains mostly everything your body needs and is very nutrient-dense.
If you don't eat fish get an Omega-3 supplement.
Veganism sucks. Meat is especially a good source of iodine and you need that shit.
Maltodextrin spikes your blood sugar like crazy. Especially avoid protein powders with this and other fillers if you use those. Personally I find xantham gum acceptable in small (<0.5%) amounts but that's it.
In my experience things like dairy sensitivity can be reduced with unpasteurised honey. It helps balance your gut bacteria.
ooberlu ago
Any recommendations for spirulina products you like?
tokui ago
I'm lactose intolerant. Yogurt is fine. Kefir milk is also good (its basically yogurt). And some hard cheeses like Swiss have little to no lactose. I only use butter, never oils.

spirulina manna is amazing and you can literally feel it working, but it taste like pond scum ugh. I mix it with warm milk
satisfyinghump ago
I know about the benefits of spirulina but alot of qhat im reading lately about it, states it is not as safe as before due to being high in radiation...
exhert ago
I'm not sure if something can be 'high in radiation'. Are you saying it contained unstable isotopes? From what I've searched, it looks like Spirulina actually helps resolve radiation exposure.
Rubberdong ago
Oh man...I cant stand spirulina...does it come in a pill or some shit?
Artofchoke ago
It does but I'm not sure how the absorption is affected.
insanitea ago
Pretty sure there's a bunch of brands that sell them in capsules but it's way cheaper to buy it in bulk.

TheTrigger ago
I mix it with almond milk, vanilla and stevia. Do the same with hemp protein powder. Shit's good; taste like liquid oatmeal.
ButterBeater9000 ago
Xantham gum isn't a sweetener. It's a thickening agent. Also that shit about unpasteurized honey balancing your gut bacteria is retarded nonsense. Maltodextrin spikes your blood sugar because it's literally fucking sugar.
You don't know what you're talking about.
Liber ago
Different sugars react differently, who woulda thought?
exhert ago
I wouldn't say it's a sugar, more of a highly refined/chemically processed corn starch. Still shit for you, nonetheless.
tokui ago
Corn is sprayed with roundup. That's also how it gets into your vaccine shots (directly into bloodstream). They feed it to pigs, it collects in their cartilage, that's harvested to make agar for culturing virii.
Artofchoke ago
Also worth mentioning - xanthan gum can kill many animals - raccoons, dogs, etc.
ButterBeater9000 ago
What does that have to do with humans? We can process sugar alcohols while they can not. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol.
Artofchoke ago
Maybe we shouldn't? TIL beer + pizza is like a gangrape on your kidneys
ButterBeater9000 ago
It won't hurt you.
Artofchoke ago
Depends. Are your kidneys under undue strain, are you fat, you got the beetus, are your lungs compromised, are your arteries clogged.
Why put undue strain on your organs, yaknow?
ButterBeater9000 ago

Most apples are caked in pesticides and god knows what else. Rinsing barely helps.
LightningAndTheSun ago
Not only apples, most "organic" stuff at the supermarket is coated with a petroleum-based waxy substance that basically seals the entire fruit from the air so it takes so long to spoil. It also makes the fruit appear shinier so you want to buy it more.
CRO95 ago
That incredibly shiny fruit does the opposite for me. When I see all those shiny apples in the store that look like brand new cars in a car saloon, I immediately know something is wrong, because no natural fruit looks like that. Those apples with small imperfections and stains, that's where the real shit is at
Thetiedyeguy ago

Animal fats are good.

talmoridor-x ago
No, protein should be your main source. It's what animals are mostly made of. Fat is just a supplement. To be in ketosis constantly is to lose muscle and have low testosterone.
To actually metabolize protein into glucose for cellular respiration, you have to eat twice your body weight in grams of pure protein a day. That would be at least a few pounds of meat a day.
https://youtube.com//watch?v=TomY9r5zevo
Haywood_Jablomeme ago
You need one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight to gain muscle. I can't believe the upvotes you're getting for retardedly false information.
getshanked ago
Turns out they are just really good at stopping muscle protein degradation.
talmoridor-x ago
To gain muscle. I'm talking about to gain energy, dipshit.
talmoridor-x ago

insanitea ago
Like the guy who replied to my comment, put words in my mouth, shot down a claim with nothing but "it's bullshit" and then got upvoted for it.
HoneyTrap1488 ago
No, it shouldn't. Not unless you want severe constipation. Some people go full retard on protein consumption and find this out the hard way eventually. It's just not necessary to eat that much protein for 99% of people -- all you get is diminishing returns, awful smelling flatulence and a fibre deficiency. Protein is important, but taking it too extremes is just as retarded as overeating carbs or fat.
This guy is an 80 IQ manlet.
talmoridor-x ago
Only with cooked meat. Raw meat is easier to digest.
Not an argument.
getshanked ago
How can raw meat be easier though? Heat treatment denatures proteins into smaller peptides and single aminos, which makes them less immunogenic and easier to absorb into the blood. You can probably live on 30g of pure EAA powder because it’s all absorbed within the first 2ft of the intestine. The protein utilization from cooked food is already quite poor, and you can smell it for yourself if you spend time around a bodybuilder. I just don’t see how raw can be easier.
slowcrash101 ago
I disagree, I gained muscle while being keto. You only need .6 grams of protein per KG of body weight to maintain your muscle mass.
Mustard_Monkey ago
Gluten is garbage.
slowcrash101 ago
Maybe, sourdough bread is ok.
performance ago
To say nothing about the tremendous strain you'd put on your kidneys by doing this. Definitely not a long-term solution.
EnterTheUnKnown ago
I agree with this. You should be eating high protein for lean muscle mass. I personally think you should limit carbs to no more than 150 in a day, and preferably be around 100 or so. This allows for a few pieces of fruit and plenty of greens. The only fat you should be eating is from meat, fruits/veg like avacaodos, and small amounts of olive/avacado/coconut oil.
HoneyTrap1488 ago
One-rule-fits-all decrees like this are everywhere on the internet and they're universally retarded. People should experiment and eat whatever best suits their genetics. What works well for you might be awful for someone else. Making decrees like this is just the "food pyramid" all over again, except with even less credentialed proponents...
EnterTheUnKnown ago
You completely left off the rest of sentence you faggot.
Simonsaysgoat ago
This is untrue. Look into your ancestry for what you should eat. Eskimos eat primarily fat and blubber and little else. Fat has much more nutrition for your body. I think,k listening to your body and knowing historically what your peoples have eaten is the most important thing to,do.
Tallest_Skil ago
Except I’m Homo europeansis, not Homo americanis. Don’t talk to me about “ancestors” when they’re not even the same species.
Simonsaysgoat ago
I said to find out what, your ancestors ate and go,from there. My overall point is that there isnt one race that survives in vegetables alone but tyere are ones that survive in fat alone. Point being choose your, food by your heritage and dont avoid fat. God damn voat has really, gone downhill, unless I spell every little, thing, out, you, guys dont, get,it
sometimessage ago
Simonsaysgoat ago
Holy fuck, you just reiterated,my,entire, point. Find out what your ancestors ate and,go,from there. Fat has, more, nutrients than meat does.
sometimessage ago
Holy fuck, you don't know how to read do you? The Inuit are an isolated genetic population who are unrelated to most people on the planet. Therefore it is extremely unlikely that they are our ancestors. Their high intake of fats create toxic compound build up (natural and man made) in their bodies which lead to bad health effects. Fat cannot provide water soluble compounds and water cannot provide fat soluble compounds. We need both in order to be healthy.
Simonsaysgoat ago
I never once said they are our ancestors. Your the one who cant read. I made my statement. You dont have to like it.
jthun2 ago

Eskimos didn't have diabeetus, heart disease etc until they started eating the standard western diet which is carb/sugar heavy.
1 gram of fat is better for you than 1 gram of carbs.
cleverbird ago
You missed his point, which is that you should try to find out what your ancestors ate and try to emulate that. One size does not fit all.
Simonsaysgoat ago
It doesnt matter what percentage they are, haha. It isnt about where your born, its in your genes. If your genes are northern Italian eating red meat amd dairy is the staple food versus say Sicily who eat mainly fish. This makes a difference. Your a liberal kike if you deny genetics determine what you are
SonofSuebi ago

Creatine is a godsend, for this exact reason. There's no way I could eat that much meat in a day, on a regular basis.
getshanked ago
I don’t think we need that much meat to begin with. If you were eating a variety of tissue types, you’d be getting a complete amino acid profile. Muscle meat is high in sulfur aminos and low in proline and glycine, which are found mostly in joints, bone and connective structures like skin and tendons. Glycine is powerfully anti-catabolic and sensitizes muscle tissue to the anabolic amino acid L-leucine.

getshanked ago
That’s because of the Randle cycle. The cell preferentially uses glucose first. Glucose inhibits the mobilization of fatty acids from adipose tissue into the blood. But you will soon run into problems if you’re blood is full of fatty all the time as well. If you want to lose weight you have to allocate fat loss periods between feeding periods. This is why intermittent fasting works so well for many people.
RealBiggly ago
If you eat fat and carbs at the same time, yes you'll gain weight - but that's the standard diet, isn't it? Keto is stepping outside of that and just not eating the carbs.
I went from 90 kg to 75 kg simply by keto and daily walks.
