I cancelled my reddit gold subscription - What the hell should voat give out if you've been particularly awesome? (AskVoat)

I like the idea of gold. I was a 9 year redditor and i liked paying a monthly fee. I liked the 'perks' it offered.

If at this point a 'perk' is faster servers / page load times for a truly free platform of speech that would be great. Let's get it on a monthly subscription a-la gold.

Has it already been done? if so, point me in the direction. If not....can we set it up?!

Fair enought. I'm not even really talking about being able to give gold for a witty comment (even though that's what the title alludes to).

I liked contributing to reddit. I never did get 'guilded' but i enjoyed gold because it helped reddit out.. It was the sense of community. But you're right. Commenting and actually talking and donating do exactly the same thing.

I guess you get a badge on your profile for each month you donated, and at which tier. Thats something.
