I've been going on various random "alternative" sites, such as Raddle, Notabug, Ruqqus, etc.
In almost every instance, there's at least one post or thread in which users are celebrating Voat's shut down.
You fucking idiots. You have no idea you're next do you? You claim to value free speech (to the point where you seek out sites that promote it), and when the gold standard for it is overwhelmed and the admin declares it's going offline, you express joy? Fuck you.

most people have no idea that they're going to face a future that makes them see Brenton Tarrant's actions as 100% reasonable and justifiable.

They’re going to face a future when they’re on the receiving end of similar actions.

Where you going after this man? I had just discovered movie night, carl, and the whole deal! I was really enjoying it.....

Nothing nailed down yet. There are some options we’ll all float around on. There are also Voat bunker communities on Element, Aether, and Keybase (really they’ll be used to do light comms and tell other former goats where to go when the listed sites start banning us).
I think we may not settle down until there’s a genuine Voat clone. NotABug is close, but…

I'm not familiar with element, aether, or keynote. (I'm only familiar with voat :(... ). If I had to pick one which is the best? Also do they have voat subs or just a bunch of voat users also use that? Sorry for all the ?'s

I would say none right now. They’re more bunkers than anything else. If we, as goats, are banned from other, more Voat-like discussion websites, we can always go to the Voat board on one of those services to see each other and talk about where to go next.
Oh, sure. Element has a pseudo-Voat board with sub-boards on the biggest topics here. It’s basically just chat rooms, though. No individual thread topics (just overarching topics). Give ‘em a try, at least.

Good call. Thanks. I hope to see you around.
