My liberal workplace is finally going full commie. It was only a matter of time working for a company in the middle of a leftist hellscape, but I'm still shocked how quickly they rolled out these new commandments with no prior warning or employee feedback.
They've already made face coverings (masks/face shields) mandatory, and also just dropped a mandatory 1.5 hr "unconscious bias" training course on us as some stupid "CEO diversity and inclusion pledge" earlier this year to be completed by december. I was willing to postpone the course until after the election to see if they'd get spanked by Trump since we're technically a federal contractor (we do occasional work for the military) and he put out that new executive order against critical race theory. Who the fuck knows if he's all talk on this one or not.
To my joy, we all just got an email today about how now the flu vaccine is mandatory and we have to sign up for the at-work clinic by the end of this month. No further clarification outside of "THIS SIGN UP IS REQUIRED". Now I have to go have a useless conversation with HR that I already know the outcome of, and I suspect I'll have to contact an exemptions lawyer. I really like my job, but there's no fucking way they're injecting me with poison to keep it. If I can legally avoid it, I'd like to stay, but I'm more than willing to walk away on this one.

Why quit when you can build a case agaisnt them?
You have the 4th Amendment right to be secure in your person without unreasonable searches. They have zero evidence of any symptoms that you pose any threat.
They have zero right to make medical decisions for you. Employing you is not a reason to start making your medical decisions and threatening your job over it.
Tell them "I don't consent." Don't give them a reason, just keep saying "I dont' consent." It's none of their goddamn business whether it's because you have adverse reactions to vaccines or because of your religion. Just keep saying "I don't consent." If they fire you, then you can talk to a lawyer to determine which grounds you are building your case on based on your personal reasons.
Why on earth would you quit when you can hit them with threats of legal action? This is how we fight the war. We need to stop just bowing out voluntarily.

...When does this vaccine bullshit violate HIPPA rules?
ketoll ago
An employer must have you sign a waiver when you get hired on if vaccination is part of the employment agreement. You basically have to waive your rights on paper.
They're not going to tell you that it's a voluntary choice if they try to pull that bullshit in the middle of your employment. They're going to say it's "mandatory" and hope that nobody calls them on their bluff. It would violate HIPPA if they threatened the employee to be terminated if they don't comply.
