My liberal workplace is finally going full commie. It was only a matter of time working for a company in the middle of a leftist hellscape, but I'm still shocked how quickly they rolled out these new commandments with no prior warning or employee feedback.
They've already made face coverings (masks/face shields) mandatory, and also just dropped a mandatory 1.5 hr "unconscious bias" training course on us as some stupid "CEO diversity and inclusion pledge" earlier this year to be completed by december. I was willing to postpone the course until after the election to see if they'd get spanked by Trump since we're technically a federal contractor (we do occasional work for the military) and he put out that new executive order against critical race theory. Who the fuck knows if he's all talk on this one or not.
To my joy, we all just got an email today about how now the flu vaccine is mandatory and we have to sign up for the at-work clinic by the end of this month. No further clarification outside of "THIS SIGN UP IS REQUIRED". Now I have to go have a useless conversation with HR that I already know the outcome of, and I suspect I'll have to contact an exemptions lawyer. I really like my job, but there's no fucking way they're injecting me with poison to keep it. If I can legally avoid it, I'd like to stay, but I'm more than willing to walk away on this one.

Fight it if for no other reason than to make life difficult for upper management.
We have "mandatory" masks too. Funny thing is there is no requirement of what the mask needs to be made out of. I already butted heads on this one.
So, what I did was, I found and old shitty hat. The ones with the mesh for the back half of the hat. I cut all the off. Where the head band part is, at the ends I put 2 holes in each side. Then cut took 2 hair ties and cut them in half. Threaded one through both holes on each side and tied them off. It is cheesiest mask you have ever seen. It is mesh with ghetto hair ties holding to my face. And the best part is it checks all their boxes and they can't do shit about it.
