A lot of people are asking, so I'm going to copy-paste the same reply to them all.
Something happened. Our web dev guy took the site down and deleted the source code. It took me forever to get an update out of him, and he won't discuss any details. I believe he got a visit from the FBI or local law enforcement. He's being way too cagey about the whole thing, more reluctant to discuss it than I consider normal from this person. He'd tell me if it were any other reason. I believe he's under legal pressure not to discuss it. I feel bad for him.
So, we got on the news twice, we made a lot of people very very angry, and we showed the world that there are still people who don't subscribe to the Gospel of Diversity. I feel like we accomplished our goals. I'm sad the site died, but I'm glad my friend wasn't disappeared into an FBI black site. Someone else may take up the Coalfax mantle now. Our cause will never die.
Thank you to everyone who submitted coalburners and supported us. We, the silent majority, still exist.

Well they did silently get their .com back around the time they started using the term "wignat" and attacking anyone with ideals. Try it for yourself, it will redirect to their current site instead of giving you an error like it did when it was down. There was no announcement or celebration upon getting it back, in fact they still ask for donations claiming their dotcom is censored. If you bring it up on the forum or book clubs you will likely get kicked out too.

I wouldn't go that far. In the early days it was pretty good. It filled a nice niche as a far right news site that was mostly satirical. Think more of a racially conscious version of the Babylon Bee that names the jews. After Charlottesville and some legal stuff they moved into pushing the optics thing hard and tried to be thought leaders instead of focusing on their strengths which was mostly comedy. There is of course the forums that they had for discussions too, but over time old users got purged and now even some sections of the forum are gone to make it more friendly to newfags. If you went there years ago you probably would have had a great time. Nowadays the attack articles and the .com thing does raise some questions, but there is still some good comedy articles in there.
