I was upset. Doesn't happen to me very often but I am only human and I got irritated upon finding out that voat, a place where privacy matters a lot, is now affiliated with company that manufactured and distributed malware I got upset. In my mind this has big implications. Whether they actually own voat outright at this point is purely speculation on my part but ⬆️ is not. Its fact. This company is affiliated with voat.

Maybe it's not a big deal but I thought it was information that many of you would be interested in. I do not post a lot of controversial things but I still value my privacy as I'm sure you do as well. I guess what I was trying to communicate to you yesterday is proceed knowing that there is a very good chance that your privacy here on voat has been compromised. That's all, believe it or not I care about you 😊 we should all be looking out for each other around here.
