Here, there's stuff on the default front page with low double-digit vote counts, but everything there is from pretty much the last 24 hours.
On Poal, their front page is mostly low- to mid-double-digit vote count, but a significant percentage of it is days old.
So the choices are
A site that's stuck in 2010 with a moderate amount of activity, but it's filled with retards and people with absolutely no taste or common sense, and has an owner/operator that appears to be actively (well, passively, really) trying to snuff it out, if nothing else then just letting it wither on the vine.
A site that appears somewhat modern and polished, that is actively being maintained and developed, which may or may not be filled with retards, but you can't tell because hardly anyone uses it.
