For those that don't know what's going on:

Brave browser allows you to earn crypto by viewing ads (or outright buying crypto) and, optionally, sending that crypto to people on the Internet.

However, you have to be "Verified" to receive the crypto.

Voat.co isn't verified and, thus, Brave users can't send them any money that they've earned.

Because Brave is a Google project so intelligent users don't give the CIA more data willingly.

I love how you guys think that you're not being spied on already.

Oh yes. The answer to why a Free Speech website that goes against the grain of Government control does not verify with said enemy Government and it's intelligence services is definitely hard to understand.

Setting up a cryptocurrency wallet to receive donations will compromise Voat.

Having to register your domain name, host your site, etc through companies? Completely private and the government can't do anything about it.

Oh yes. The Government certainly cannot use it's overwhelming economic and military might to threaten a corporation into giving up it's user detail on you. They'd never do that. No single instance in history, ever.

I guess you didn't note my sarcasm.

The point was, you're totally fine with one thing but not the other, which is retarded.
