This post is my ideas on the theories that have been thrown around about what the actual target of the attack was. As others have pointed out, it would be very stupid to directly target the post you want taken down, because more attention would be called to it. It would be smarter to DDoS a post that has some truths, but ones that are not as harmful and would lead people down the wrong path. I believe this is the case with this post: https://voat.co/v/PizzaGate/3346357
Of course, we could assume that "they" are so stupid and arrogant as the believe it would not matter (personally I don't).
So what was the actual target? I have seen theories that it was a post about how undercover agents cannot state how many miles Israel has. Was that the true target? Likely we will never know. In a way, they have succeed in that a seed of doubt will always exist no matter how logical it seems for any information to be the "real" target. Even this post itself could be seen as an attempt to plant doubt and chaos. As we know, once something is on the internet, it cannot be erased. However, it can be diluted with gigabytes of false or half-true info.
What are you goat's opinions and theories on this? Do you think the PizzaGate post above is the true target? Is there any way to weed out the truth in this situation? Will this post get buried because it contains a kernel of truth?
