This is a response to the stickied post Puttitout made, and his poem about "building" and "destroying". Instead of posting a comment in His post, this warranted it's own submission:

Choose your side, because I've chosen mine. Voat will support those who build.

And in this context, who decides whom among us is a "builder" or a "destroyer"? You? Mob rule? What constitutes a "builder" here, a "destroyer" here? An action that would "build" one side's position could "destroy" the other side's, who decides what the "right" position is? And "support those who build" means what to those who "destroy"?

And why is "building" the good thing and "destroying" the bad thing? "Destroying" your debt would be a good thing, no? "Destroying" that enemy army that's intent on pillaging Your home would be a good thing surely? What about "building" something to do You harm? That invading army "built" a catapult that can knock down Your home's border wall, that would be bad, right? How about Your little poem, maybe that building needed to come down. Maybe it was a run-down abandoned shithole with lead paint, asbestos insulation, and crackeads squatting in it.

And then there's the "Hurr smart people gud vibe. The building in Your poem must be a simple one, because I assure You it can take quite a bit of skill to "destroy" a lot of things. A simple barn in the middle of a field? Yeah, let the newjacks handle it. A modern building in the middle of a crowded residential/business area? Naw, You're going to need engineers, HVAC, public works, everything if You want that building down clean and without doing harm to the adjacent buildings. "Unskilled" men can "build", and "skilled" men can "destroy".

I have yet to meet an engineer who wasn't a C-average screwup who partied Their way through collage, and is unable to wrap their heads around anything outside of beer and fantasy football, but he's "skilled". Meanwhile, My "unskilled" ass is currently stripping My motorcycle down for refit and repair, with basic tools and whatever I can glean off of the internet. Make's you think.

The smartypants is the one leading that enemy army towards Your home, but He's "smart" and "skilled", so it's cool apparently. The "skilled" man can hurt You just as well as the "unskilled" man can help You. There's a lot of "skill" being used to "build" the forces that are intent on doing My country harm. My "unskilled" ass would like to see those forces "destroyed"... Get it?

Puttitout's poem is sophomoric, His intentions undefined, and His thinking is shit.

Sounds like Putt's getting ready to go the typical censorship route, going easy on those that echo popular (for here) opinions, and dropping the ban hammer on those that speak against the site's usual zeitgeist. Bad news for Me, as I'm sure I'll be labeled a "destroyer" for defending The United States of America and standing against the naziboos, internet toughguy geeks, athi-pagan fags, and usual subversive elements that constantly wage ideological war against Me and Mine. Not surprised.

A goat can "build" a single-sentence submission like "1488/365" and nothing else, and you lot will hork like seals and start ejaculating up votes. I can enter said submission and call that goat a low-energy faggler, "destroying" their position for not providing any compelling content outside of an old and easy (considering the venue) one-liner. Who's in the right? Who's in the wrong?

Yup, definitely about to go censor-happy. Typical internet geek phrasing here; Make a threat, but make it vague and be smug about it, because keyboard warriors seldom have the spine to flat-out say something.
