Well, how literally do you take the bible?
Do you know anyone who's tried to kill a giant with a slingshot lately? Do you have multiple wives? Does God talk to you through a bush? Have you sacrificed your first born to God?
I would hope you would be able to read an old manuscript and realize that it's not a literal voice telling you what to do in the modern world.
On the other hand, I've never read the Talmud. I probably never will knowing that the ancestors of Rothschilds put a lot of their satanic shit into it when they infiltrated the religion.
