I think Voat is capable of hosting unlimited communities with different interests and standards. It was designed for this purpose. It's what makes this kind of platform attractive. FPH is a perfect case study.
If we have a problem after things settle a bit (because most migrations bring bad actors along for the ride, but they fizzle out among level heads), we will address it and fix it. I promise this.
Many of these immigrants have no idea what we've been through and thus don't respect Voat like they should. They see Voat as a small faceless wannabe reddit clone website (can you blame them?) and they have not the loyalties and bonds that run deep for us goats. This is the main problem, in that we've bleed and sacrificed for Voat, whereas they've simply registered a new account.
Also, please consider that there are those that intentionality increase tension because it causes drama (on both sides).
I'm going to wait until the dust settles and then reassess.
If we have solutions to problems let's discuss in v/ideasforvoat. If I find it is a problem, I need to figure out what to do anyways, so let's start talking solutions!
Problems force us to make our system better (and everyone here has to honestly admit we have some fairly good protections in place that have done their job). I look at problems as an opportunity to make Voat better and I'm not giving up on Voat.
If they're going to suppress content in other subs because they don't like it, it's a whole different animal than FPH. Time will tell if they actually do so.
I doubt it man. They probably just legitimately want their own Q community. They pick apart and read between the lines of Q's words to justify their separate verse, but whatever, I dont think most of them would care to participate outside their community.
I just don't have any evidence to suggest that all the posts on 8chan, reddit, and here calling for vote manipulation and sabotaging other subverses to get "offensive" content off of v/all is fake. Even if the people making those instruction posts were all infiltrators trying to make everyone look bad, how many people follow along once that's posted?
I didn't say it was all of them, of course it isn't. But to say every single one of them dindu nuffin is a lie.
