Like how we can only see 1% of what your equipment can see. then that equipment can only see 4% of the universe. Personally I think this is due to crappy models based on 100year old theories.
how about the Boötes void. An enormous, approximately spherically-shaped region of space, containing very few galaxies. It is pretty much empty. It does not fit with current models of how things should look. Some say it is due to a mythical kardashev 4 type civilizations. Some sort of AI consuming all mater it encounters.
If you take in to account just how rear it would be to get to where we are. The huge mile stone we would have had to pass to get here. the grate filters. then the conditions needed to hit those miles stones. You can easily end up with life forming on only 1 in a trillion worlds. There's about 100 Billion planets in the galaxy. even if we take in to account that the milky way is about 13 Billion years old. 1 in a trillion so rear that we may be the only ones looking at the stars.
Any one can spout a few woo woo space words. I want proof.
At the very least I want to see what the modern day equivalent of the black bird sr70 looks like.
Yes, probability is all we currently have, at least in public knowledge. Another thought for you, why does an Alien have to be carbon based? That alone increases the chance exponentially. We are still only "guessing" but you get the picture.
stuff carbon based. How about incredibly large and slow. or incredibly small and fast.
Most people haven't thought about how the sun could be conscious. One idea that I liked from Isaac Arthur is digital civilization based close to black holes. you could have multiple civilization around multiple black holes and due to time dilation they would be able to communicate with each other pretty instantly. Or at least it would see instant from their point of view.
It would probably be a good idea to work out how to talk to whales before we meat aliens. I think that we are in a world of consciousness. Not a world of dead matter. What most people think of as life is only a small fraction of what it is. Maybe not though I have no proof.
There is at least hypothetical proof. The current human senses are extremely limited, we can only experience a fracture of the "real" reality.
A lifeform can pretty much only interact with something it can experience. So even though there is something beyond we have no idea how to make it experienceable.

There is never any proof to that shit.
look at This shit.
Its like saying woo woo ayylon musk is lizardo. Then nothing.
It wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't so popular.
Qtards do not practice critical thinking. No proof is necessary for them its infuriating.

If you need Q for something like that you are hopeless either way. Just calculate how much matter the earth has compared to the entire universe.

sure.
I could stat all sorts of coincidental shit.

reminds me of the shape shifting machine elves.
