I think Voat is capable of hosting unlimited communities with different interests and standards. It was designed for this purpose. It's what makes this kind of platform attractive. FPH is a perfect case study.
If we have a problem after things settle a bit (because most migrations bring bad actors along for the ride, but they fizzle out among level heads), we will address it and fix it. I promise this.
Many of these immigrants have no idea what we've been through and thus don't respect Voat like they should. They see Voat as a small faceless wannabe reddit clone website (can you blame them?) and they have not the loyalties and bonds that run deep for us goats. This is the main problem, in that we've bleed and sacrificed for Voat, whereas they've simply registered a new account.
Also, please consider that there are those that intentionality increase tension because it causes drama (on both sides).
I'm going to wait until the dust settles and then reassess.
If we have solutions to problems let's discuss in v/ideasforvoat. If I find it is a problem, I need to figure out what to do anyways, so let's start talking solutions!
Problems force us to make our system better (and everyone here has to honestly admit we have some fairly good protections in place that have done their job). I look at problems as an opportunity to make Voat better and I'm not giving up on Voat.
The "real" problem is when you look at v/all unfiltered
It's no longer v/all it's v/q basically, that's where the problem is if any, I had to block v/QRV because it was unbearable, something like 9 post on 10 in v/all was v/QRV
It's really a matter of quantity, regardless of the number of upvoats a post gets, there shouldn't be more than 3 of the same sub in v/all, only the 3 best ranked, otherwise if you let everything go on the basis of upvoats only the sub with the most contributors like v/QRV with fucken 300 upvoat on average for every post takes all the first page slots, it's bordering on spam
I throw that rough as it is, there are probably adjustments to make but you get the idea

for v/theawakening and v/GreatAwakening, both not black listed on my v/all, it's rather ok, it pops up often but doesn't cover v/all entirely

If it wasn't easy to block a sub I'd say you have a point, but it is really easy to block a sub.

Sure it's easy to block, except when you're not logged evidently... Then it's not voat it's Qvoat

That sucks.
