This site has had some rocky moments, from ddos attacks, incoming reddfugees, shill brigades, threats from governments and their 3 letter agencies, etc. Etc. Etc. But through it all Voat is a place where free speech reigns and the community actually decides what content is valuable to us without the filter of mods or pc culture.

Without places like this, conversations get stifled and echo chambers form. This is not to say voat is free from the echo chamber aspect, but that is the communities decision. Free speech without the fear of repercussions for one's thoughts is invaluable. It helps everyone gain a little bit better of an understanding of how people actually think/feel in a world where we are force fed what to think, say, and do, and that allows us to find whatever truths may come to light, no matter how tainted or enlightening they leave your world view after. Voat is unlike most other forums out there, and I thank the creators of the site and all of the lovely (and not so lovely) goats for everything you have and will give us.

The world is a messy place full of hatred, fear, uncertainty, love, and hope and Voat is one of the only sites where one can find all of that. Keep it up (((nigger faggots))) and keep those red pills coming!

I don't try hard, I just do me. If someone doesn't like it, they can go fuck themselves. On a different note... I have too much shit to take care of in real life and trying to balance multiple accounts to perpetuate whatever agenda I may have is at the bottom of my list of shit to maintain.
