That's not how supplement saturation works. If a radioactive isotope is already in your system then good luck getting it out with Iodine tablets. Supplement saturation is a prevention, not a cure. It works by saturating your body with a stable, non-radioactive version of a given element. So when you are exposed to radiation, any radioactive isotopes of that element that enter your body will not be absorbed and quickly excreted out as your body already has an excess of that given element.
Iodine tablets are used to prevent radiation exposure from Uranium and Plutonium, as Iodine-131 is a common fission product from those elements. Iodine-131 will fuck you up if it gets in you, so Iodine tablets are given to people working in and around nuclear reactors that run on Uranium. But if the radiation you are being exposed to is not Iodine and does not decay into Iodine, such as Cobalt-60, then Iodine tablets will do fuck-all for you.
