There is something seriously wrong here. The codebase has not been updated. The site goes down for days without explanation. No sign of our one and only admin. @Atko comes in to save the day? Wtf?

I've waited a week. So, if @puttitout does not post an explanation by tomorrow, along with an updated canary notice I'm gone.

Ive been here a little while so I feel stupid for asking but what is a canary? I am aware that is a type of bird and I am aware of the term "canary in the coalmine", so I have a couple guesses as to what it could be but idk. If someone could please enlighten me I promise I will raise your karma.

Th canary here is an old announcement submission that is edited to show that the canary is alive. It hasn't been edited for 4 months now. Someone may come along to correct me or spin one way or another but those are the raw facts.
