I think it is because during the feminist movement and civil rights movements a lot of power was gained by pretending to provide justice for people. This was something that would move the sentiments of large segments of the population and get them to support poorly though out legislation. I wouldn't call it indoctrination so much as I would call it manipulation. If it's indoctrination then it's pretty weak sauce indoc because a lot of people are rejecting it.
Even my daughter rejects!! The other day she comes to me really sad because one of her favorite disney movies, "Spirit," about this wild unbreakable horse got turned into a disney princess my little pony remake. My teenage daughter was so disgusted with this she goes, "let's cancel netflix."
So.. I dunno if I would call it indoctrination if even the young aren't falling for it. I think it's more like a manipulation/con job that has gone on so long that more and more people are getting hip to it and therefore it is losing it's power. Besides how can you continue to claim minorities are struggling and it must be the overriding concern of the whole society when you make the majority suffer and face poverty as well? If everybody is suffering then who is the minority?
