Stopped by the gas station on the way home from errands and picked up this guy. As you can see, there is a $3.95 fee that has to be paid to the store but I bit the bullet. My first attempt at using the card was declined so I called the company and was informed that for online purchases a zip code had to be registered. I registered a zip code and then tried again using billing information that could be found on the card. Am very happy to report that a successful transaction happened.

I'm gonna need to make a new email and try again again again with a gift card.. It asked for my personal email, I got mad, and I quit. It's certainly easy to break into Voat and collect my username + email + CC info if I gave it out. I ain't doing it tonight, I've had enough red tape for this evening. Going to have to set all of that nonsense up now just to donate. Not tonight. Grrr... I'm angry!

It all depends on what you plan to do in the future. You would never register your name to a gun if you planned to commit a crime with it. Same goes for your name in what is unfortunately a grey area today.

Although it is probably a good idea to poke the bear in order to make an eventual legal precedent in burger land, it might not be a good idea elsewhere. Myself being A FUCKING LEAF I need to be careful on social media lest I offend one of God's chosen people or their pet brownskins.

They all work for online purchases; you just have to register them on their websites (printed on the packaging or on the card themselves) with a valid zip code. Just google maps the nearest McDonald's and use their zip code.
