It's not a honeypot or some nonsensical bullshit like that. There are plenty of ways that I am still reachable online. First of all, imgtc.com has it's own forum that I am on nightly. [email protected] is piped right into thunderbird which is always running on my laptop. I'm on twitter @jmtullock. I left here to focus on making imgtc the biggest mother fucking image host on the goddamn internet. I work 6-7 days a week in construction right now, the only time I have to devote to imgtc are the few hours a night between getting home from work and going to bed and I need to spend those hours as efficiently as possible.

Cool.. because I switched over from Slimg to Imgtc. Slimg keeps giving me errors and refuses to let me upload some images like this one: https://i.imgtc.com/6AwiloZ.gif

I was just trying to slap a forum signature onto Slimg because Photobucket has been a real piece of shit for the past six months. Earlier this week, none of my images would load on forums. So, I tried to reupload my signature onto Slimg and it just kept saying, "Failed."

I only use your site to upload pictures. As an advertisement everyone will always see imgtc.com as the host of my weekly-ish comics. And as a mod I recommend it to people asking about image hosts. Keep up the good work, I'm happy you are working to make this a reality.

I tried a bunch of different ad companies. ubercpm, yllix, chitika, all of them had earnings of MAYBE $0.02 cpm. Wit adsense it's around $0.30cpm.

I'm having a little trouble making the switch to imgtc because of the quality loss.

For example:

I'm not sure if the average person can tell but I can see the quality loss immediately between the two. But anyone should be able to tell once you zoom in:

Would you consider having any help with the site if it was offered? I for one am a computer science major. Still a student, but I'd love to see the inner workings of an actual up-and-running site. I'm pretty good at CSS and layouts and don't mind researching a lot of what needs to be done on the back end side of things.

Big updates in the pipeline. The max size is going to be increased to at least 100mb and will be able to handle 1080p quality gifs and lossless jpegs as well.

Just a thought ... why not reclaim the v/imgtc subverse it looks like you originally created way back when. It say's 'you can claim this site' and has no current mod. I see your new username has little activity, but it wouldn't be difficult to meet the minimum requirements to request the subverse. See v/subverserequest sidebar for info. That way you could update everyone on Voat using your old sub.

I don't plan on being active enough here to warrant a subverse. I have the official forum that I'm going to improve, and the email if anyone needs support. Outside of that I will probably use only twitter because imgtc is far from the only project I am working on
