This only happens if the mod invite if of a high enough level to actually access the subverse settings page (owner, mod, etc.). I'm now recalling something Putt said about this back on Vout; I think this might actually be unintentional, but I'm not sure. I can confirm it happens, at any rate. I think I'll mark this as EXPECTED for now, but it might be addressed and changed regardless.
