The picture was swapped out after Floyd's death, however, according to Q #4437, the Obama Foundation created the image and validated it [using cards-dev.twitter.com/validator] before Floyd died. This allowed them to swap the image at a later date.
Maybe, Georgie Floyd, the landlord isn't dead are we ever really sure MN infested with all letter agencies, counterfeit money fentanyl, porn movies, is the killer Cop really a racist they worked together for years same shift. we know Georgie Killed Communist Flu or "COVID", killed 15 people in the mela. when the truth really comes out he will have killed the Demascat party.
I bet someone could recreate what happened to show if the photo updates can change. Instead the ones on the left aren’t very convincing. It’s a case of “thou doth protest too much.” Pun also intended.
The link address is frozen, the content at that link is not. IE if the picture originally in the link gets updated to a new picture after the fact, the new picture will appear in the old link.
We understand how relative and absolute image paths work. But I doubt many of us KNOW for a fact how Twitter handles a link from a website in a Tweet. You can assume you know, but until someone posts a link to a page they have admin control of, and then swap out the one image on that site to another, it is merely speculation.
I dont think that is true maybe if yoj post the image but this is a website preview its pulling the image from the website preview element which if changed would change everywhere. Its not a photo post its a site post.
This has me thinking whether Twitter would allow an image to be change (constantly dynamically loaded from the source). Why wouldn't Twitter freeze the html that is loaded, including a copy of the embedded images with a unique (random name) on one of Twitter's image servers? In other words, isn't the larger investment of resources for Twitter to screen content, including images? Once the tweet is made, I would think Twitter would NOT want that image to be swapped out after the fact unless the user goes in and actually edits a Tweet, at which point the Tweet might be vetted again. IDK, but it seems the image fed in at the time the tweet posted would not be dynamically pulled each time someone loads that tweet.
Its just the obama website new preview page when yoj post a link to twitter it will try to pull a preview image and if its set globally and changed then the old posts kf the website will then host the new pic because twitter is pulljng the image from the site not hosting it.
Patriot, I suspect this was all planned by the DS, amazing France had the same beside the car pose three days earlier, this would expose them wide open, reminds me of prior FF were we saw the articles days prior to the event.
We all make mistakes at times; I've posted a couple of things when I was tired and failed to check. The error was pointed out with polite courtesy, not abuse.
When shills jump on a post, down vote and ridicule, then its likely to be over the target in my experience.

Patriots, the OP fucked up. This isn't what he/she thinks it is so please stop these knee-jerk, ignorant reactions that make us all look like fools.

Fake. Never go full retard, it makes us all look bad.

Isn't this just a case of the site pulling a more recent image? Is there any way to prove this image is as old as you're claiming?
Killnigs3 ago
Yes thats what It is.
Necrophagist-2018 ago
Twitter does not do dynamic linking, IE what you post on twitter a link It is froze to that specific time when the link was originally posted
NarrativeControl ago
The link can't be changed but we're talking about the site preview thumbnail. It more than likely got refreshed with a newer image.

Patriot, fake or damage control ?

Right, who knows? As it was all a total FF, I'm inclined to think it was posted prematurely by some idiot.
