While I was on Twitter I swear this was happening there. I had to chalk it up to being one of the worst products I've ever used, or that it was intentionally glitchy for accounts they didn't like. It was obvious it was the latter because it didn't start out glitchy as hell and the majority of other people weren't complaining.

Another account of mine there was shadow banned, completely invisible.

Sounds like they hired a bunch of niggers. Niggers are niggin and they are blaming it on PTSD. I yawn at REKT threads on 4chan. There's no fucking way this is causing them to suck each others female penises in the bathrooms.

TheNerdyCowboy ago

I can confim this already exists. I am a "troll" to facebook for not sharing their political opinion, not having their apps(messenger, facebook app) but still being connected to family and friends on it

llegendary ago

That's how twitter does it.

iDontShift ago

interesting. i just found myself logged out of reddit for no reason today. sounds like they might be doing this too.

first time.. i am pretty sure.. ever. thanks for the heads up, i thought it was weird.

everyone hates reddit, but filter out all the tops subs... and it still sucks but enjoy some of the content.

Demoralize yes, they do this a lot. Everytime the jew does somethig , it is easy work, theres money to be made, but it needs to have the bonus of demoralizing the general population.. Thats called a jewish homerun, i forgot the 4th base. You dont need to be jewish to do one though.

RoundWheel ago

Google and Twitter already do this.

Theyve gone full Stasi. In East Gearmany during the cold war the Statsi would monitor political dissidents (wrong thinkers who didnt like their cage) every step, then when they were out theyed sneak in their home and leave the gas on (hence: Gaslighting) and other things like change their brand of coffee, move things around, in an effort to send them crazy. (I think I'm immune though I caught crazy when I was young and its not one of those things you can catch twice, is it?)

Two lead Facebook engineers proposed the creation of a “Troll Twilight Zone” which would secretly glitch out the accounts of alleged “trolls” on the social network, to “confuse and demoralize them” around key election dates.

Facebook Data Science Manager Seiji Yamamoto and Facebook Chief Data Scientist Eduardo Arino de la Rubia made their proposition in a 2017 presentation titled, “Coordinating Trolling on FB,” which was shared by a former Facebook insider with investigative journalism outlet Project Veritas.

According to the Facebook presentation,”troll accounts” in the “Troll Twilight Zone” could have their bandwidth “drastically limited” for “a few hours,” be logged out automatically “every few minutes,” and have their comments “magically fail to upload,” which the Facebook engineers boasted could “confuse and demoralize them.” Breitbart TV Censorship: Facebook Just Targeted Another Conservative

The presentation even noted key election dates which such manipulation could be deployed for, and claimed “trolls” could be identified by certain keywords they use.

Some of the words provided in the presentation, which Yamamoto and de la Rubia claimed could be used to identify trolls, included “zucced,” “normie,” “MSM,” “Overton Window,” “IRL,” “red pilled,” “SJW,” “shitposting,” “Kek,” and “REEE.”

The presentation also proposed alerting the “troll’s” friends on Facebook when they become banned in an effort to shame them and “strike fear in the hearts of trolls.”

Yamamoto claimed the “troll accounts” were engaged in “destructive behaviors” like “Red-pilling normies to convert them to their worldview,” and “Toxic meme creation.”

“By understanding the source of bad memes, we can choke off the distribution,” declared the presentation, explaining how Facebook could use “meme templates” as “marked bills.

Too late, we have Dissenter now. Go fuck yourselves.

Twitter does this already. When I click a twitter link from voat with referrer headers on, it takes forever to render the page and then says "this page took too long to load" or something like that. If I hit refresh, it then says, "You are rate limited".

When I turn off referrer headers, the twitter link loads instantly. They've been doing this for awhile. Try it yourself, click a link to twitter from voat with referrer headers on (make sure you are logged out of twitter).

Dark_Shroud ago

I've said it elsewhere but I've experienced the same thing. It's extremely stupid for them to do this. Because I just stopped using Twitter when that shit happened. Same goes for Facebook, which is in decline now.

Anything I don't like must be hidden from me so I can browse endless halls of agreement.

Still perplexed that there are so many people on fakebook.

andrew_jackson ago

Their time will come. Social media has hitherto always been a fad. Facebook may very well be merely the flavor of the week.

Its here to stay bozo. It's as fixed as the cia is. Its not recreational or optional

wt1984yb ago

They’ve already done this. I had problems loading certain pages when I’d say things against the grain. This was a long time ago. Only happened on certain pages on which I had a history.

Me too.

Facelighting

Nefarious-Nephilim ago

Its just occurred to me that all the contradictory information that is available to the public i.e. Salt is good for you >next week> Salt. The deadly poison. I could go on and on but I think you get it. So much contradictory information for one single purpose - Gaslighting

prairie ago

I think it's more that people don't care about the facts, just how to spin it to support their pre-existing view or agenda. A lot of things get used like that, just things people reach for to bolster their position.

Perhaps another reason is that we necessarily come at health from a large ignorance. We can either pretend that what we know about how the body works is complete and make recommendations based on it, or recognize its limitations and draw on other approaches, like people who try to figure out what our ancestors ate and therefore what we've evolved to work best with.

"Journalists" reporting on anything relating to science is generally a joke. What's the point of science if they can't even properly represent the findings without lots of unfounded conclusions?

Nefarious-Nephilim ago

Its science, health, and politics. Journalism in general has become a joke. Little more than a tool of the establishment to fracture society with "diverse" and diametrically opposing views. Because to divide is to easily conquer.

Hurting your own user base is a sure fire way to run a business!

Facebook is garbage.

phillyjoe ago

Morons with FaceBook on their phones aren't the userbase.

Gargilius ago

Actually you might be misunderstanding FB business model: the people they are 'hurting' are not their users -- what you are calling 'users' here are the product FB is selling; their real users are advertising agencies, political groups and lobbyists; that's where the money is coming from -- and shaping opinions of their 'products' to fit what their users are expecting is certainly not hurting their bottom line in the least.

KeK, I bet those Zucced SJWs will be REEEing when they realize that normies are waking up by themselves IRL to the MSM and that the Overton Window will shift by itself the more red pilled they become, shitposting is already becoming a norm with kids.

GapingAnus ago

All the kids agree that getting shamed by a big multinational corporation is very bad and it hurts their image.

Please, please, please make this happen. It will backfire so badly as to "red-pill" an entire generation and may even salvage the zoomers who, by all measures, are even more cucked than millennials.

yellowthread ago

IRL is an ancient internet acronym, does it have a modern political meaning?

speedisavirus ago

Not by itself that I know of. I've seen it used in combination of explaining how delusional leftists are

yellowthread ago

Maybe it's an indicator of being capable to get online pre-iphone, which is correlated with technical aptitude equivalent to at least some sort of small ape.

Neon_daemon ago

Anyone seen this toxic warning label? Screenshot please

justlogin ago

Sometimes, if a stranger replies to your public post or if you mention the CIA/FBI on someone else's public post, you get a warning message that your post are public, sometimes. I don't know if they only do it to folks on watchlists or not. :/

Neon_daemon ago

When ib posted a news article on fb critical of the see. u. there. My account got mostly locked down

prairie ago

Could you somehow get NPCs to use these terms so trigger the glitches on themselves?

Dark_Shroud ago

It's so petty & stupid and I'm sure Twitter is doing this same garbage with the way I get logged out or can't use the service while on mobile.

What's laughable is this probably helped a lot of those people to dump Facebook for better functioning services. Especially with Gab.com becoming more commonly known. Minds.com makes another decent options with and a nice back up.

Pepper-theDoctor ago

I haven't had a Twitter link load on the first click since 2015. They're already doing it
