They probably won't either care or they may have already conquered us.

I have a suspicion that any civilization capable of interstellar travel has abandoned their biological bodies long ago. With that, they may have also abandoned biological purposes.

chryseos-geckota ago

Well universe had a few billion observable galaxies each contained a few 100 billion stars. How many planet could that be.

No matter how small the odds of life developing on a planet, you roll the die enough times you'll get a yahtzee.

jokersmild ago

Radio Signals? Are these aliens from the 50's or some other lame era that they used radio?

SirJiggzalot ago

Maybe not, but they could probably detect them anyway.

capnflummox ago

There is already a theory that aliens are sending biochemical warfare to Earth via asteroids and comets from the Kupier Belt or beyond.

Vic_V ago

I agree. what's his address if its nearby I'll take the telescope

SirJiggzalot ago

That will be difficult. Its taller than the Washington monument. I personally would go with explosives. I believe it was in W.Virginia of all places.

BiscuitFever ago

Eh. At worst they’ll come in a few thousand years to wipe us out, even if they can travel at light speed(which is a huge assumption) it’d take them thousands of years to receive the signal and begin to move toward us. At best it’s a waste of time and money because it’ll take thousands of years to receive a signal back. There’s no point freaking out now, the sheer size of the universe prevents anything from happening in even our grandchildren’s life time.

7e62ce85 ago

Aliens advanced enough to travel here and that have a need for our resources would:

  1. Either be coming or on their way anyway.
  2. Have the ability to see our planet was inhabited regardless of what we did.

Entanglement isn't unique to quantum particles. In my explanation the bags are entangled in the literal exact same way the particles are entangled in that experiment.

CobraStallone ago

I've thought about this before, and yes I concur we should be very quiet. At the very least until we field a capable space navy.

NoisyCricket ago

The "dangerous" aspect is way over stated. To reach a technology level which would allow for space travel in relatively short spans of time basically means they experience no shortages of energy. I don't want to say infinite energy but it would certainly be measured at the levels of total matter conversion of multiple solar systems and so on. Which means they would care not for energy or resource acquisition. Something like terraforming would be child's play. Additionally, to reach such a technological level would ensure they would more or less be nonviolent. Otherwise they would have likely long since destroyed themselves.

Which basically means the following:

  1. They don't care because we don't matter any more than you care to go to the other side of the planet to destroy a specific ant mound.

  2. They care and observe. Largely with indifference. Perhaps experiment and/or obtain pets out of curiosity.

  3. They care, guide, and play some type of role at some point in time via myth or shadow.

  4. Play an active role in our guidance and development.

The 'ol bit about storming across the universe to stomp on ants is borderline mentally insane. No matter how popular the notion or good the movie plot.

Sure you can then pretend that the energy levels are much lower and they use generational ships. But that's even dumber. Who is going to commit generations and relatively large amounts of resources to storm across the universe to stomp on an ant mound they know nothing about? Obviously, no one is going to.

Makes good movies but it's a child's fearful fancy to believe it would be dangerous. Obviously one can't rule out thought process entirely foreign to us which would invalidate the above logic. Regardless, chances are it's nothing but hysteria.

SirJiggzalot ago

What if they feel we could be a potential threat in some future time so decide to eliminate us ? What if they destroy all civilizations they have the means to as just what they do ? Not saying that aliens even exist, just playing what if.

NoisyCricket ago

What if some day monkeys are a potential threat in some future time?

SirJiggzalot ago

Like niggers , or actual monkeys ?

robabo ago

We use bacteria to process ores into concentrates for refineries. May be we are just something else's bio-refinery. What is in abundance here and not abundant in space? Maybe nuclear materials that we are concentrating in nuclear power plants. Most nuclear plants could be removed to space as a unit. What if some alien life from captured a Voyager and liked the power source. (300W of power for 85 years) and came looking for more. What make's mankind think they would even recognize us as sentient beings. I have to agree that contacting aliens is a very misguided anthropomorphic idea.

SirJiggzalot ago

Yeah, what bothers me is all the people who ASSUME aliens would be warm and fuzzy just because they are more advance. They act like they just KNOW ! We dont KNOW shit. Im just saying it would be prudent not to call attention to ourselves is all.

ScannerDarkly ago

It’s obvious aliens are already here, and have been for millennia. We are most likely their creation.

Maybe all the advanced species end up emasculated from space soy and giving too much of a speaking platform to purple haired dikes and fat opinionated black women and nothing ever gets done.

Ocelot ago

I would doubt it. It seems that the recordings of the Moon's "ringing like a bell" come from seismographs allegedly planted on the Moon during an Apollo mission. IIRC, flat-earth theory follows that the moon landings never took place.

ardvarcus ago

It would be Star Trek.

syntaxaxe ago

Not dangerous at all. Why?

1) Earth doesn't have any material that is particularly rare in the universe, so we likely wouldn't be conquered for resources.

2) To any civilization that is capable of traveling interstellar distances, we offer no threat or benefit. They would have to be thousands of years in advance of our technology (at minimum; given the length of the stellar age so far, it's more likely that they are millions of years ahead, and billions is not out of the question). They wouldn't come here because we have something to offer them any more than we'd go visit chimps to steal their tech, and our own technical abilities would make it pointless to enslave chimps or destroy them as a potential competitor. If they are capable of destroying us from across the vastness of space, they are just so far beyond us that there's no logical reason to hunt us down.

3) So, perhaps they are stupid and would accidentally destroy us like the Europeans that brought new diseases to the Americas... but again, a civilization would have to know much more about the Universe and be capable of much greater science than us in order to travel interstellar distances. Remember that we have yet to have one human travel to the nearest planet. So it seems to me that this would only be a threat if they wanted to destroy us.

4) So the only reason left that would make them a threat to us is if they had some ideological or instinctual need to just destroy other life or other civilizations, whether it's logical to do so or not. This is possible. But it also makes it pointless to hide.

Our civilization has been massively blasting out radiowaves for a few generations now. Our atmosphere's chemical makeup - which can be analyzed across instellar space by the light that passes through it - strongly suggests massive amounts of life here. The infrared and light radiation pouring from our cities, especially given the fact that this changed very quickly after the industrial revolution, indicates technology.

If aliens were sending out our normal everyday signals from a nearby star system, we could find them even if they weren't targeting signals at us. A highly advanced species, focused on space technology and actively hunting for alien life, would already know about us if they were at a nearby star system. There is no point in hiding.

hatecrime ago

This is the truth. People seem to think they would be like us and act like us. When if you use your brain you realize it's illogical.

Also, if they can travel lightspeed etc they could be MUCH older than us. Which means they are not absolute primitive retards like us.

We couldn't handle their technology. Some retard degenerate would make a bomb and blow up the entire milky way.. So they won't intervene until another 1000 years.. Good job us! but if WE DO manage to make some weapon that could threaten them I'm sure they'll just annihilate us.

So we're stuck until we evolve..

SirJiggzalot ago

You got it all figured out. No possibility they could pose a danger eh. ?

syntaxaxe ago

Of course there's no way to know exactly how it will turn out, whether it will be detrimental or beneficial. But the things people tend to worry about when addressing the Alien Question are things that we have reason to treat as unlikely, or things that it's already too late to do anything about.

GoogleStoleMyBike ago

Is God not an alien? He created our entire universe, right? He doesn't live on Earth, which makes him an extra terrestrial. Does God exist?

Nalbarcam ago

depends on your view of the universe. is it a materialistic view? or are there cosmic spiritual laws? this would change the behavior structure of the entities.

materialism based: worst case you get the borg

spiritual based: there's probably already a massive universal hierarchy of spiritual beings, and everyone is given their own time to discover the true nature of such. interfering would be like interfering with the prime directive. in the 'spiritual' view of the universe, there are literal consequences to violating this law

BakedMofoBread ago

What are they gonna do? Respond with nasty alien words in 600+ years?

Unless we're WAAAAY off regarding the nature of the universe, we're never gonna see aliens face-to-face, unless we go there and don't miss their existence-window because of relativistic time dilation effects.

Even if they sent death-robots at near-relativistic speeds (to avoid time dilation and make your arrival time sooner [from a stationary reference frame]), we'd probably be advanced enough to defend against them by the time the alien-death-robots arrived.

But for argument's sake, let's say the aliens who pick up our transmissions can generate negative energy, or somehow have superluminal travel that avoids relativistic, intertial, and temporal effects. Why would they waste their time and resources on this mudball planet or its backward, ignorant people? the only thing that we have in abundance that seems to be in short supply cosmically is Deuterium, but it can be synthesized sized easily enough. We have no special resources, possess no special knowledge, and produce nothing that an interstellar civilization would want. Beyond that, our location in this galaxy is basically out in the boonies. We're in the Orion Arm, out near the edge of the galactic habitable zone. Are you gonna sail to Easter Island because some dude on HAM Radio was talking about worshipping the wrong god?

475677 ago

If aliens are going to visit earth the only thing we have of value is genetic material and only then because it could become a new food to them. Life sucked for us before the spice traders livened things up and they'd probably go through the same thing so bringing back herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables and animals could make them obscenely well off.

SirJiggzalot ago

Wow, lots of hubris. Who knows what they may find desirable ? Thats my point , we dont know what we dont know.

They may even make us play music and destroy is if they don't like our song. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT

Odds are if we turn out to be the most advanced with the best space force we will be the destroyers.

That's more supernatural, could be alien though. We've got skinwalkers and dogman around here. My aunt saw a big foot deep in the Mtns in South Dakota, and I believe her because she wasn't the type to lie about that type of thing.

Mothman could've been a skinwalker but the green monster got out of a craft. It was a reptilian in a robot suit.

Got any links about this? I've heard some strange shit deep in the woods but never saw anything besides bears and other assorted wildlife. I swear I was being stalked by something when I was fishing once, it was a very unnatural feeling and didn't seem like any animal. Almost as if I was being watched by more than one creature. I was scared shitless. I've ran into bears and they never made me feel the way I did that day.

Depending on your political compass, i've got a story for why Mothman might be fake. Do you believe teachers in the education system are biased against freespeech and freethinking? Basic English class in HS, everyone had to do a powerpoint and the topic was conspiracies. Most ppl didn't want to do that topic so then they were all encouraged to research the 'easiest' being Mothman. Almost everyone did Mothman. I like to be different, so I just randomly picked the JFK assassination. Btw, i'm Australian, not American. I knew nothing abt politics back then and I didn't care for it. Just found JFK interesting. I didn't exactly conclude WHO did it. But I gave my own reasons for WHY others more likely did it, using the 'supposed conspiracy evidence' (Just like everyone did with Mothman). At the least, I presented the stuff that persuaded me to believe JFK was not assassinated by 'the sniper in the tower' (the guy they arrested for it). Ppl said it was a great presentation (It wasn't lazy or bad and it was refreshingly different from 5 bloody Mothman presentations in a row). Anyways, I got a D on the assignment. Whilst all A's went to Mothman (but not everyone who did Mothman of course). No Mothman presentations got Ds, there was different topics that also got Ds (Not a Mothman presentation, someone else got a D and was so mad they were flipping tables). It was a small class, everyone knew each others grades. I was kinda pissed off too, cause for once, I did put hard work in and actually enjoyed doing the assignment (made me think I was wrong abt it, but they were thought policing). It didn't bother me a lot. I just accepted the grade, no questions. I rarely went to school anyway and nobody would think anything of me getting another D. I always knew teachers were biased back then, it wasn't until now I realised in what way they're biased.

CheeseboogersGhost ago

Hmm that's interesting. As far as I know, politics didn't play anything in Mothman. It was an event that sent a whole town into chaos. The eyewitness accounts were by mountain folks who do not give two shits about tourism or any kind of hoax. This thing was seen by many. The movie left a lot out. These types of people back then were filled with an abundance of common sense and pride and would not lie. These people live off the land and hunt.

as far as JFK, I'm fairly certain Israel/mossad did it because of JFK not wanting Israel to have nukes, and for pointing out the danger of federal reserve and banking institutions.

Rhetorix ago

Seems like there's a lot of stories surrounding Mothman, if it's true, then some stories must be fake to discredit it (shills). The one story that stuck w me tho (idk if it's true, just creeped me out): A lady and her baby drove back to her house. The lady gets out with her baby & puts the baby down somewhere outside (on the porch or on top of the car or something), so she could unlock the door. When she turned around to get the baby, she saw Mothman standing near her car and watching her and the baby. So then she screams and runs inside, leaving the baby outside. Then she's watching Mothman through the window and sees it walk up to the baby and to the window and keeps watching her. Then it flys away after a while. Apparently that lady needed therapy for the rest of her life, especially because 'nobody believed it happened'. Ppl in the class also mentioned a heap that Mothman probably lived in an old mine where they used TNT to make caves in the mountains. Personally, idk abt Mothman. I might believe in it more if at the least Mexico or Canada had more stories abt it (Should fly to other countries, they've got 1 story at most tho). I'm not really big on believing in Aliens (or space at all really). But I still think it's believable that Aliens could be real (as our creators/God). I do believe in God tho, I use to be a huge athiest back in the day. I thought I saw a UFO a few nights ago and I laughed my ass off when it was just a plane flying really low (it was making weird 'UFO' noises cause of the wind), did scare me for a moment tho :P

Edit: I just remembered that the baby was apparently crying the entire time too.

CheeseboogersGhost ago

I've seen UFO's. This is a hotspot. I've seen the little black triangles that are totally silent and I've seen the classic chrome/metallic saucer. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders, though.

Rhetorix ago

I've gotta say though, in my opinion I see the pattern that people that claim to have seen alien stuff, definitely saw it more than once and more often. I wouldn't put them all down to schizophrenia or psychosis either because I personally don't believe any mental illness is real except Psychopathy. I do believe autism is caused by vaccines, therefore making it manmade. I've had psychosis before and hallucinated. Hallucinations aren't like drugs or the movies. When you take drugs and expect to hallucinate, it creates the belief it will happen and makes it stronger. Same happens with marijuanna, which is where the lsd like symptoms claims come from. The only aliens I believe in are psychopaths. They're literally parasites that lack human emotions and mentality. They just look like us, but their brainwave patterns are 'naturally' different. Psychopaths enjoy messing with others in 'smart' ways, causing them to have psychotic and mental breakdowns. They hate being with other psychopaths, so they'll leech onto lots of humans and treat them like pets to experiment with.

I hate to ruin this for you. Nothing is being teleported. This experiment is identical to if you took 2 bags, put a black block in one of them and a white block in the other, mixed them up, then sent one bag to your friend. Then you look in your bag and you "instantly" know whats in the other bag x miles away. That's literally all it is. Also totally useless.

Thanks, looking it up it seems like you need to have contact between them unless you utiliese quantum swapping aka quantum teleportation which would require having entangled particles in the first place.

Though I used Wikipedia so maybe that's wrong.

CowWithBeef ago

The assumption that they would need to exterminate us in order to maximize the utility of our planet is a bold one. Abos never even slowed down the British use of Australia. The difference between Brits and Abos is likely to be orders of magnitude less than between a multi-stellar creature and humans. They'd probably just do lots of experiments on us.

ashekchum ago

We will add your collective technological and biological distinctivness to our own,
your culture will adapt to service us.
Ressistance is futile

Alien contact would represent a huge turning point in the course of humanity. I think it's probably impossible to realisticly predict if aliens would be hostle or helpful untill we actually make contact with them since they are by definition alien. You could say that as the technology advances that makes it easier to contact/visit other worlds technology also would make it easier for self destuction, so for a society to advance to the point they would need to be peacful, however that doesn't necessarily apply to being peacful to other worlds.

In short it would be at the discression of aliens what happens to humanity, humanity would essentially be out of the picture, so in a way that is like the destuction of humanity.

SirJiggzalot ago

Yeah lots of these idiots are so certain we have nothing they'd want, wouldn't bother us etc. Im just saying we have no idea at all if they would be a threat and would be wise to stop advertising our presence. We dont know what we dont know about them, if they exist.

CowWithBeef ago

It's either (stupid) or (stupid and dangerous) depending on whether or not extrasolar intelligent life actually exists within our galaxy.

SirJiggzalot ago

Exactly.

VoatsNewfag ago

The hippies and soyfaces will tell you that advanced extraterrestrial life must be peaceful because only humans can be evil. I've heard this so many times.

I don't think it's an accident that our most beloved domesticated pets are hunting carnivores (wildcats and wolves). Hunting requires more intelligence and cooperation than eating plants. If you can't defend yourself empathy is a burden. If you're a bunny running away and your friend gets attacked trying to help will only end with you providing another meal and leads to your genes dying out.

But I think these people despise humanity so much they might even look forward to it's eradication or enslavement.

As a sidenote look up the "fermi-paradox", it deals with the question for why we haven't met alien life yet and the theoretical answers are quite interesting and often times related to this discussion.

Mortifera ago

Shit next time someone says only humans can be evil remind them that otters and dolphins commit rape. Chimps, both make and female, have been observed killing and dismemberment baby chimps, then eating them. They'll prolly say that's just animal behavior but we're animals too.

SirJiggzalot ago

Well Im glad you get it. Im not sure there is alien life, so I can only go by earths history of technologically advanced cultures " discovering" primitive cultures and extrapolate from that. I think its an easy conclusion we should " shut up" and stay undiscovered until we know more.

i_scream_trucks ago

I dont think its an accident that most beloved pets are hunting carnivores

its not. they descend from wild carnivores that learned to live around humans. thats why theyre called 'domesticated' as opposed to 'wild' and why feral cats are a problem.

VoatsNewfag ago

Yes, but I specifically mean that we fell in love with them. Up to the point that we feed, protect and bring them to the vet when they get sick despite the fact that their practical use today is probably non-existent for most households. Many dogs are incapable of defending your home and many housecats do no longer catch vermin.

We domesticated a lot of animals. From barn animals to hamsters. But it's the ones that formerly were dangerous hunting carnivores we truly fell irrationally in love with.

I believe their ancestors being pack hunters is the reason for why we can bond much more strongly with cats/dogs than with a hamster. I'm not a biologist so it's just a belief, but I think it's plausible.

WhiteRonin ago

Oh how true! Just look at the official and unofficial Egypt stories. Vastly different and yet the crazy make more sense.

hogarth45 ago

No worries, aliens do not exist.

ashekchum ago

For quantum entanglement don't you need or at the least with our current technology/understanding, have to have the particals next to each other to entange them? That would limit it as a mean to instantly transmit the data since they would have to sent s physical craft limited by light speed first. Though a drone ship could reach the destination have a quantum entanglement communication device and send information, and potentially digitized concousness or artificial life forms. Or could carry a grey matter converter with it wich could supply the resources necessary to create the fleet and the receiver to send instructions/digitized concousness.

Space folding or wormholes are probably more likely as a means of intergalactic travel. Which if fesable would shorten the trip time of the drone ship.

HulkInformation ago

Radio waves travel at a rate of approx 185 miles per second, the nearest star is Alpha Centauri C a red dwarf, small low-mass star, about 25 trillion miles away likely having nothing around it. Regardless, a radio wave which would be incomprehensible to anyone receiving it were they listening. Assuming the waves aren't obscured by anything, distorted, reflected, or disturbed. Would take:

(25 * 10^12) / (185 * 60 * 60 * 12 * 365) = 8,570+ years.

So it'll get there about 430 generations from now. Hopefully by then we might have come up with a better idea. Shooting radio waves into space is eggheads taking advantage of dumber people, and collecting grants.

Elemental_Lightning ago

Fact_Checking_Alien ago

You really shouldn't worry all that much. Thanks to the inverse square law, any signal we send dissipates to background radiation by the time it could get anywhere. This is also why there's functionally zero risk of any of our signals ever telling an alien species "we are here". All of those huge radio signal stations are a complete waste of time and finances, since we'd not only have to already know an exact planet to target but expend more energy than our entire planet can currently produce to hit it with a signal that wouldn't be decayed by benefit of that law.

Basically, it's a wash. It's almost guaranteed no civilization anywhere near our tech level can contact anybody, ourselves included, and any civilization that COULD would be indistinguishable from magic. Meaning they can either find us anyway, or don't care to find anybody or be found.

137 ago

If the inverse square law is true then why is the heat from the sun so intense and not equally distributed across the whole earth. We shouldn't see such a defined ball. It should just light up our sky with a warm glow.

The answer is... sun is local. Outer space is fake and gay nasha deception.

Sun is a spotlight for earth.

clamhurt_legbeard ago

What exactly do you mean by the heat not being equally distributed?

TheAntiZealot ago

I think I can explain.

Ok, imagine that this is the ball Earth model:

() =

Where ) is the surface of the Earth and = are solar rays.

He believes that the solar rays should be coming from a large enough source (heliocentric model) that the heat spreads evenly across the surface of the Earth.

Now, let's imagine that this is the flat Earth model:

Where | is the flat surface rotated 90 degrees and ° is a localized, close proximity Sun.

He believes that this explains why the heat of the Sun is greatest at a particular longitude and latitude at any given moment (geocentric model).

KoalasRplushies ago

Sun is a spotlight not a distant light source ball of hot gas.

Let me put it this way. If you're in a room with a huge heater blasting in every direction equally from far across the room, putting up a barrier between you and the heater shouldnt really do that much. You should still feel pretty hot since the heater is just blasting heat indiscriminantly toward you but not focused at you like a laser beam.

If you go outside, a tiny little cloud will drop the temp instantly by like 20 degrees. The sun is an intense spotlight. Not a huge ball of gas super far away.

clamhurt_legbeard ago

Why doesn't your model of a huge ball of gas act like a spotlight? What part of the ball of gas prevents spotlight behavior?

KoalasRplushies ago

Spotlights arent spheres of light. Its focused light.

clamhurt_legbeard ago

Ok but you said your conception of a ball of gas can't be blocked by a cloud.

Why?

KoalasRplushies ago

It can... it wont make a 20 degree temp drop instantly. It shouldnt really affect anything.

Go read my description again. Huge heater far away, you wont feel much difference putting a barrier up between you and the heater. Unless that heater is focusing the heat directly at you and not indiscriminantly radiating heat.

A light fluffy cloud shouldnt drop 20 degrees temp blocking the sun, assuming its millions of miles away. It should be irrelevent.

i_scream_trucks ago

it would be nice if flat earthers could actually give some genuine science behind their whackiness rather than just regurgitating bad stories.

clamhurt_legbeard ago

Well, you say the temperature drops instantly but that's not true of the actual air temperature. The air temperature remains the same, even when a cloud passes, because it has its own thermal inertia.

So what you must mean is it feels 20° cooler on your skin. That's because the solar radiation (whatever the shape of the sun) is not hitting your skin as much.

So the question is, why do you think a spotlight sun is able to have its radiation blocked but a spherical sun can't have its radiation blocked?

What part of being spherical makes the radiation unable to be blocked by a cloud?

You've gotta remember that it's not 'Voat' in general, it's probably the moderators of the Space subverse. They have rules for each subverse. I get that it's your opinion to say outer space is fake (I believe it too), but you still have to respect and not spam subverses that are dedicated to specific interests, just because they don't allign with your opinions. Stopping that kind of shit, keeps subverses relevant and appealing to each interest. If you spam a lot voatwide, I wouldn't be surprised if the sitewide mods do something abt it (in the same way they want to get rid of bots for example). The best thing to do when something doesn't fit your opinion is to move on and ignore it, easy. Spamming this shit is pointless, ppl aren't robots that listen to your every command.

Nobody has mentioned this yet, so, let’s not forget we have been broadcasting our existence since Marconi and we have leave it to Beaver broadcasts being transmitted across the universe.

So, focusing a more intelligent broadcast makes no difference.

So, we have to end all radio, television, and mobile transmissions and should be stopped.

Oh right! Don’t forget those fucking probes we have been sending out and sending us pictures of Pluto and shit!

SirJiggzalot ago

Tv and radio broadcasts fade out pretty quickly. You need purpose built transmitters to reach other star systems. Probes are like a grain of sand in the vastness of space.

WhiteRonin ago

A grain of sand that sends out signals back to earth would be an easy enough which grain of sand on the beach it is.

SirJiggzalot ago

Fair enough.

Pawn ago

Some idiot in here thought that our marines could handle the aliens. Too much Hollywood.

CheeseboogersGhost ago

The only thing we could do is nuke ourselves. Better to be dead than some aliens slave. Based on many accounts at nuclear missile sites, something turned their missiles on and off before so we probably wouldn't be able to fire them.

SirJiggzalot ago

Lol

WhiteRonin ago

Sumer has recorded the history of Aliens altering our DNA.

No fiction here unless you include the Bible in that genre.

WhiteRonin ago

Winning the powerball is a fantasy according to you too.

Where does it state that God only made one set of beings?

God created everything. So, with mathematics that he created the odds of life existing is better than winning the power ball.

137 ago

Lottery is rigged and fake...

WhiteRonin ago

So is the Bible ;-)

137 ago

You're a tranny. Bible is truth.

WhiteRonin ago

You are sinner because you lust after my cock. Why do you want me to be a tranny? Huh! Huh! Exactly! Sinner!

The Bible was truth until humans corrupted it. Then again, when it was still pure and if you believe it that version, you are a Jew.

God wrote 10 laws. The rest is suspect. Don’t give me the Angels bull shit because how can we verify the were acting strictly as his agents! You can’t! We have to believe they did. Well, god lost control of angels before so there goes that arguement.

God couldn’t even control Eve who fucked the serpent. Ohhhh yes! She did.

So the Bible is truth about beastiality, daughters fucking their dads and god raging over nations because their leaders didn’t listen. And let’s not forget that god just washed the whole planet because his creations wouldn’t listen to him.

Yes sir! The Bible is truth!

clamhurt_legbeard ago

Satan was an angel, too....

WhiteRonin ago

That he was.

I think that serpent of eden was actually a good entity. I fall into the sumer belief story though.

137 ago

Every knee shall bend, tranny.

WhiteRonin ago

Stop being a gay sinner!

SyriansAreTerrorists ago

Panspermia is very interesting but it just pushes the question of the origin of life one step back. Abiogenesis is still necessary, just on another planet.

i_scream_trucks ago

not necessarily. tholins develop from hydrogen and radiation. tholins are organic matter on their own. not saying this is the direct answer but it hints at the possibility that elemental particles and radiation together can kickstart a living process.

totes_magotes ago

Our transmissions have been going into space for years. They will never try to conquer us. We have Batman, Superman, the Avengers, the X-Men, Aquaman, the Power Rangers, dinosaurs, and Teletubbies.

And Godzilla.

We have enough of our own problems and they don't want a piece of any of it.

Revived_Jack_Tunney ago

This was a plot of a Tim Allen movie.

Anam ago

We have Rosie O'Donnel, Justin Bieber and the Kardashians. What if that makes the aliens want to kill us with fire?

newoldwave ago

they would want to exterminate the vermin

Anam ago

Ack ack!

GIIOST ago

truth! guys think about it, Before the JEW media told you about aliens. what would we call these "aliens" DEMONS! what they have been called for centuries. Hell is real, Demons are real, Possessions are real, Angels are real. GOD created everything. I won't say God didn't create other beings somewhere, because thats putting limits on God and God is Limitless. But I think IF God did, he would have made them in another dimension / reality, Separate from ours.

Anam ago

Would God have to send a separate Jesus to each inter-dimensional alien race?

GIIOST ago

where did I say that? No he wouldn't WE are humans. God likes us, The other creations he MAY have created aren't. only created for his joy, he can turn them off like we turn off a tv and fee no remorse.

chryseos-geckota ago

Pretty bold assertion there considering the number of stars and planets.

Considering there's a good chance there's was/is life on two planets in our solar system alone.

green_man ago

Aliens have probably checked out Earth in the past, saw all of the niggers/shitskins and noped the fuck out.

SirJiggzalot ago

A very good possibility !

clamhurt_legbeard ago

You think the niggers are more dangerous than the white people who instantly vaporized multiple cities?

green_man ago

That's like comparing a slowly acting easily curable disease that you refuse to treat to a bullet to the head.

clamhurt_legbeard ago

So does your answer mean yes or no?

green_man ago

Whites can be far more dangerous if they want to be, but they have such a high tolerance for bullshit they are typically not dangerous unless a kike convinced them to be.

ArsCortica ago

Remove the "dangerous" part. Attempting to contact Aliens plainly is stupid because the sheer size of the universe means that we a) are unlikely to ever find any (even if there should be plentiful different Alien races) and b) they would only to pick up the signal decades if not several thousand of years after it was first sent. So, even if we accidentally manage to get the attention of a very warlike race, chances are that humanity has nuked itself into oblivion already by the time they get here.

Diggernicks ago

I believe you are positively mentally retarded.

SirJiggzalot ago

Why ? For thinking we should not be telling potential existential threats, " Hey guys, come over here and check out our great planet " ?

SirJiggzalot ago

No, just a man who has studied history and learns lessons from it. The weak that have resorces the strong desire do not fare well.

Antiseed117 ago

I understand your concern but it's hard to imagine ET civilizations that could possibly be thousands if not millions of years old would be as primitive as us humans are.

SirJiggzalot ago

Exactly, we may be looked upon as ants at a picnic, a minor annoyance to be eliminated.

Antiseed117 ago

But why an annoyance? We are relatively contained on our rock left to our own devices of taking pictures of our dicks and shooting each other in the face. Resource collection on this planet wouldn't be much use either as I could imagine their resource collection techniques are far beyond digging holes with explosives.

SirJiggzalot ago

My point is we dont know what if anything they may want. Maybe the planet itself ? Maybe human" life force" or maybe all the life itself . Who knows ?

YoHomie ago

I'll second this motion.

SirJiggzalot ago

I tend to agree with you, but I believe the possibility exists.

GIIOST ago

Earth is the center of the "universe" we are on a flat petri dish, set on four pillars. There is a solid dome that holds in the sun and moon, the stars are lights behind the dome, nothing more. There is space, space inside the dome, the dome is huge! it can hold our solar system. but the solar system is much smaller than we are told. We've never been to the moon, aliens are demons. Scientism is a lie.

"Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality." Nikola Tesla

CheeseboogersGhost ago

The erf sits on a turtles back!

SirJiggzalot ago

Lay off da bath salts or salvia or whatever you're doing dude !

137 ago

Theres no such thing as a solar system.

SyriansAreTerrorists ago

9-11 is a hardcore fundamentalist religious nutjob. He probably thinks you're going to hell for raising the question of other life besides humans.

SirJiggzalot ago

I come from a fundamentalist background, I still have strong faith, I dont see how extra terrestrial life would change that. I dont believe it necessesarily exists, just that its possible.
