I avoid the evil ban of "assault rifles" by naturally having an attached magazine. Stripper clips are fun. I can also carry more ammo on me rather than keeping mags and refilling em.
You could simply answer the question rather than be pretentious. Maybe I'd learn something, or think differently rather than merely use my own knowledge and assume to the best that I can.

Stripper clips are meant to load magazines under non stressful conditions. Trying to wield a stripper clip in a combat condition would undoubtedly result in a fail. You can drop and slam a mag in in seconds. Self contained. Reliable. Fast. Stripper clips are not as sturdy as mags. Lighter certainly but much more fragile. And women absolutely are a detriment to a military unit. Ive heard veterans say don't thank them for their service if they were in a field unit. If they were they were a drag on efficiency.
