"I'm in favor of nationalized internet"- what does that even mean? You want a firewall like china has? I don't believe that view meshes with voat's ethos of free speech...

Exactly. I don't believe foreign countries view mashes with my constitution and they are using it against Americans, claiming freedom of expression to do what @Hecho does when he isn't even in the states. It's too much confusion and there is no reason to have all this noise on the US internet.

Free speech for Americans under American law, and I'd even go as far to say that foreigners would need an E-VISA to access out main internet, outside of business purposes.

I don't agree with you because that would silent too many people that would otherwise not have an outlet. We see the anti-free speech laws all over Europe and other places. You can't even say "Hitler did nothing wrong," without a criminal charge.

Those people need a place to talk and plan their future without having to filter what they say. From a purely nationalistic view, I can understand how one might not agree, and it sucks that you have to deal with shitposts in your subverse...

They have their own country.

These are the exact same people who are abusing my country's constitution trying to influence our social politics through the internet. It's the most dangerous thing we are going through a a country because it includes everything wrapped up in one. Immigration, sexual liberation, science, etc etc, all of that is manipulated through our internet.

Those people need a place to talk and plan their future without having to filter what they say.

I truly sympathize with this but I don't want to lose the freedom we have because foreigners ruined our net. Maybe that should be more incentive for other countries to correct their approach towards freedom of speech instead of escaping to american internet to bitch and moan.

Not a big deal at all really but thank you :)

I have a lot of animosity towards this subject and have been treated poorly by other so called redpilled folks about this going on for 5 years now. It's one of the main reasons I campaigned for Trump. He explicitly said we have to go after the telecommunications companies who are enabling so, so many bad things. I don't want to minimalize free speech for any America, I simply want American laws to be followed and carried out, and for foreigners to have way less influence. It's not that I hate foreigners so much as I am fully aware of the road we are heading down in the US and our internet needs to be regulated BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, not by foreigners and not for foreigners.
