We only voted for trump because killery wasn't an option. Even majority of Democrats preferred Sanders.
We should have been looking for a replacement for trump the moment he was elected. He's failed to secure the ballot box, he folded on 2A, forgotten about bringing killery to justice, and he's failing to secure the border.
He was a step in the right direction, not the giant leap that we need.
rand? I think we could get him in only if he works more with trump in the next few years as trump's counterpart in the senate, and then trump promotes the hell out of him as trump's replacement. If trump's integrity is as high as it appears then this could actually happen, i'm guessing we will need to wait until 2024 though.
i think he understands that you can't have unearned gibs and open borders at the same time, and this puts him in the default position of closing the border.
I think if we ended government grants/funding for non-citizen workers/students then a lot of the higher end problem would be over. If we ended unearned gibs then the lower end would be over. The middle could be fixed in a few ways as well, but regardless, a wall is a needed thing because we aren't going to get rid of gibs and grants going to non-citizens. we are stuck with the birthright piles of poo now, and the first steps need to be wall and ending chain-migration.
