Those Police have families and they are in the same boat. they go to work and leave their families unprotected. easier to be on the protesters side at this point.
I know several police and they aren’t paid well. Shit a fast food joint manger makes more then them (know cause I was with a group when they compared income) and the cop puts their life on the line everyday. I say when you’re in need of help they let you burn.

that's not true. unless your police friend works in a one road town in the middle of nowhere. in california, cops can make over 100k a year after only working 11 years on the job. and teachers are getting average 40-60k a year.
It is true and their wages are a matter of public record. You can see it in your local municipalities annual budget. As a tradesman I make as more than 80% of the cops in the communities around me.
Off the books benefits are mostly side jobs for uniformed officers. They pay okay, but much less than I’d charge for a side job. Health care is pretty decent, and overtime for mediocre pay is mediocre overtime pay too. I can easily compete with top police leadership in medium sized cities if I’m willing to put in the time in a trades job. I am quite familiar with their situations but I don’t care to elaborate why so I don’t dox myself.

Sure half of that 100, 50 are either too old, to young or too feeble.
