Some synchroncities due to previous threads on Gary Numan, Marilyn Manson, Eel Pie Island...

So today I was listening to another Goth band : the Sisters of Mercy and was particularly struck by one of their songs and this extended version of it - note that this video was made in the Eighties..at the start there is a sign with the name Bush on it and the lyrics are about the fall of an empire, and being caught between two worlds and scenes of faraway deserts...that got my attention: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hZGVDzQmoI

Well, the lead singer is Andrew Eldritch https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Eldritch

Eldritch studied French and German literature at the University of Oxford before moving to Leeds around 1978 to study Mandarin Chinese at the University of Leeds; he left both courses before graduating.

A: I have a theory that anybody who wants to be in a rock band probably shouldn’t be allowed to be in one. And anybody who’s really good at being in a rock band should be viewed with suspicion. Turns out Channel 4 television in the UK is in the middle of a TV series based on Dick's stories and it's called Electric Dreams What time is Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams on Channel 4, who’s in the cast with Timothy Spall and what’s it about?
