Kidizen on fb marketplace seems to be selling items at $10000 for kids.
most ads have a picture of a child.
They claim to be a kids clothes store ,but the stuff is too overpriced
I only have a twitter link to a guy digging into it as i dont have time to dig myself atm.

I did this as a test and it immediately became clear to me if was just because people didn't want to list a price and so filled in a fake price. 9 times out of 10 the prices was 123,456
I don't think this is anything like the Wayfair thing because these are individuals selling used goods in a relaxed manner where oftern they will have multiple items under on listing and so they use a fake price. keep digging though maybe you will find something more of a bombshell.

Yeah, I just typed in baby stuff in marketplace, then filtered for 5k and above, there were tons of hits fitting that description in fairly close proximity to me.

How is Kidizen tied to Facebook?

The brown ones are a 3-for-10 special. Gross that this is happening so boldly.

Why are you guys accepting the copied tweet ads? Why aren't you checking the sites themselves to confirm.
If you had done it right away, instead of waiting for someone to 'dig' then you'd have confirmation regardless of them changing or cleaning it up. All it took was a little research.

So it's not Wayfair, it someone else, and it may be a hoax against anons. Anons should better research before they start making false allegations against companies.
moderator99 ago
This IS research.
This is (supposed to be) a research sub.
Get used to it.

You guys better save all that
They will clean it all within a day probably

archive.org and archive.is are what you need.

Just a note that people will often list the sale price for $123,456,789 when they are selling multiple items, renting things or just don't want to list the price for whatever retarded reasons.
Cicoisplenty ago
They had the actually website listing these prices on twitter.

I'm not saying none of the listings are dodgey, just that some of those Facebook Marketplace listings are innocent looking.

Im in the UK and cant access US fb marketplace to check if its real.
Could anyone from the US check it out?
solo7 ago
The prices were in pounds......sheesh. I guess you didn't bother to even look.
moderator99 ago
Just like people who say they can't view Twitter because they haven't signed up.
Stupid.

Definitely suspect.
