I have discovered evidence through forensic photo analysis that photos of the so-called "Comet Ping Pong Gunman" have been digitally altered. Using Adobe Photoshop, as well as series of photo forensic analysis sites, the shocking discovery suggests that there is far more to the Edgar Maddison Welch story than we are being told. In fact, ALL of the images containing Welch wearing a hat with an 8-pointed star appeared to be photoshopped.

Methodology and Proof

Close inspection of the photograph reveals severe inconsistencies in the resolution between the star and the rest of the photo. But the definitive proof is that the pixellation around the star is parallel with the image's frame, ie the edges of the pixellated area are in line with the edges of the image, a clear sign of a copy and paste job. Here is proof of the shop using error level analysis. The 8-pointed star has a deep history in Sumerian and Catholic traditions, and was famously used as the symbol for the Knights Hospitaller and the Knights of the Temple of Solomon, or the Knights Templar. Furthermore, both Anders Breivik and Brenton Tarrant both cited the Knights Templar's approval before their shootings, two attacks that prompted major reforms and anti-right-wing sentiment in their respective countries.

Many of us on v/pizzagate know that the Comet shooter story stinks, and we have often speculated that it was an inside job meant to discredit investigation into Pizzagate. In fact, recent cover stories by magazines such as the Atlantic have cited it in the origin story of QAnon, suggesting that it has significance as a discrediting agent beyond Pizzagate itself.
