I'll concede, there were some weaknesses in the prosecution's case that have been spoken of prominently in Australian media. It wasnt a great surprise to me that the jury overturned the guilty verdict (and i dont mean not surprised as in cynical presumption of their being corrupted)
he should be in jail, but he wasnt jailed on the most unquestionably guilty crimes for which he is known
