During the recent Canadian election cycle, fawning satrap and insufferable progressive PM Justin Trudeau was accused of having had a sexual relationship with a student while he was a drama teacher.

The rumor was that he was relieved of his duties midway through a school term with a non disclosure agreement of some sort

A local news site then carried an anonymous article from a man claiming to be the girls daughter who alleged his daughter was considerably less than 18 yrs old at the time , but did not specify her actual age

in the videos above it is alleged that a journalist Kevin Johnson who has been aggressively pursuing the scandal is under arrest for vaguely described criminal charges , and that just days before the election Trudeau agreed to a $2.25 million settlement (which would be secondary to the initial NDA by the school year ago)

(warning - there's a heavy element of shilling for cash for 'legal fees' in this video - ive only just come across this, im not convinced of their bona fides)

Its just that there is nobody in politics that Canadians want to vote FOR. Actually, the Cons beat the Libs in the popular vote but the Libs won a minority gov't because they got more seats. If Scheer had been a more inspiring candidate, the Cons would have won. Now because its a minority gov't, another party always has to vote with the Libs on things like the budget or the gov't will be brought down and subjected to another election. So all these stupid woke bills they are working on are getting approved by other parties too or they wouldn't pass.

I guess you're right though, we are pretty stupid but honestly, there is nobody to vote FOR, all we can do is pick the least worst or not vote.
