There is an international arrest warrant out for Simon Gordon Davies, 63. He is wanted for running a child trafficking ring in Sydney, Australia in the 1980s and 1990s. He is believed to be in Britain or Europe.

Davies was a privacy law and human rights expert who has advised governments in Australia, the US and Britain. He founded privacy watchdog Privacy International. He was also Chief Executive Officer of UK consultancy group 80/20 Thinking Limited. He has been a visiting fellow and professor at universities around the world.

Davies was CEO of the Homeless Children's Association, which was a refuge for homeless boys. He even got Australia's then Prime Minister involved in the cause. The home took in street kids from King's Cross in Sydney's Darlinghurst, a mecca for child runaways. They were known as 'kids from the Cross'. For seven years Davies trafficked out the children to policemen and others. Some of his victims have taken their own lives.
