There's an interesting side possibility: There were rumors yesterday the tape would involve NYC. The Police Commissioner of NYC resigned Monday afternoon. Make of it what you will; I'm not sure about the timing of this.
I wasn't happy about the rumors flying yesterday, but they may have flushed this guy out. With O'Keefe acting so mysterious I'm sure a lot of perps were nervous, apparently enough to issue death threats.
