Michael Voris of Church Militant reported October 11, 2019 that the indigenous spirituality being celebrated by globalist environmentalist wackos at the Synod on the Amazon in Rome is evil and pagan, practiced by tribes who practice infanticide -- and that despite claims to the contrary, bishops know it.

He reports (2:00) that the Brazilian Bishops Conference scrubbed a link to an academic paper supporting the practice as an issue of "indigenous cultural rights".

"At the moment of birth, if a child was born with some malformation, the child would be immediately killed. Or even an unwed mother, when the child was born the child would be killed because they said that a child without a father would be worthless," said Bishop Wilmar Santin of Itaituba, Brazil. (3:00)

He also said that sometimes when twins are born, it is believed one is evil and one is good, so one of them is killed. If they can't decide which is evil and which is good, both newborns are killed.

Other topics of the synod include creating a new "Amazonian Rite" in the Catholic Church that would allow women to be ordained to the deaconate, married men to be ordained to the priesthood, and "crimes against the environment" to be officially recognized as sins equal to those mentioned in Scripture.

Slavery to the ancient Jews was more akin to the relationship you have with your employer than it was towards slavery in modern times. Slaves were to be treated well. They entered into it of their free will and left of their free will. If a slave was in an abusive situation and fled, you were not to turn them back over to their former master. It was forbidden! God is a God of love. :3

Our Lord chose men to be priests. The Catholic Church cannot change what Jesus ordained.

Priest represent the bridegroom. Not bride.

Well, since the priest is the vicar of Christ -- literally standing in for him offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and while hearing confessions -- a female priest would turn these Sacraments into another twisted shemale Baphomet atrocity. So it's really not a good idea. The priest being in persona Christi is why priests take a vow of celibacy, as well.

One of the interesting things about this awful synod has been the fact that Jesus was only mentioned five times in the hundreds of pages of "working documents" the participants are using for their discussions. Several faithful bishops have called this out. It's as if the Vatican is deliberately trying to make it harder and harder for people to see Jesus, the exact opposite of the Mission of the Church.

Don't worry though, the most magnificent creature made by God and the one who terrifies demons most is a woman. :-) :-)

No, it wouldn't. Christ's sex has nothing to do with the essence of Christ.

And considering that the Church has been a pedo club for centuries, it would be an excellent idea to have female priests, who are less prone to become predators.

There's nothing which would desacrate the Sacraments more than an evil predator who has been hurting children.

He is the bridegroom .

Women’s role AND GIFT is her RECEPTIVITY. To be able to receive graciously , as a BRIDE receives her husband .

The genders do matter as it represents the life giving UNION of male and female ... which is our gift of procreation .

What's interesting is that one of the campaigns against the indigenous infanticide tradition was founded by Damares Alves, a minister of the current administration. She admitted earlier this year that she took away her child from an indigenous tribe.

Iirc, we briefly discussed her when researching the John of God case, his baby farms and the trafficking children in Brazil.
