It is not uncommon for church buildings in major cities to rent out their space to other religious groups, usually ones too small to have their own building. Sometimes the groups that churches rent to are in direct opposition to some of their core beliefs. The fact that the group meets in the Lutheran Church may mean nothing more than the church is willing to take their money. While this is definitely suspicious, it may not mean much.

Yes, but how could any church in good conscience profit by renting its building to ACTUAL SATANISTS? They were given the money for that building by God-fearing parishioners, who I'm SURE are not okay with their temple being defiled.

If you are a Christian your mind revolts at the very idea of this, nevermind what else is going on. But I hear you about the misleading nature of the OP. It doesn't reflect the reality, although the reality is, to me at least, hellish.

I understand your point. I just want people to be honest with their posts. Yes, most things on /v/pizzagate do spark outrage, but not everything demands the same level of outrage. I questioned the post above, saying I did not see Pilgrim Lutheran Church Advertising these events. Since I did so, @portlandsurfer modified his post to include the link to the church. However, I could not find any Sekhet-Maat events advertised on the Pilgrim website. @portlandsurfer then tried to argue that Pilgrim was evil by supporting communist progressivism. That seems to be a side issue unrelated to the original claim. While it may make some of us feel good to think that many progressive churches are run by satanists, the connection could also be drawn that because the ELCA (Pilgrim Lutheran's denomination) doesn't really firmly believe in much substantive theology (including not believing in a real devil), they probably see satanism as just an empty religion, having no real harm other than just being a waste of time. That's one hypothesis as to why they are ok renting to them. Do not misunderstand me, I think both organizations need to be investigated for potential child abuse. However, I have read from a few different former pizzagate members that the reason why they no longer come back to this subverse is because everything is blown to an extreme. This story is not a smoking gun; it is only a potential lead.

ELCA Lutheran here. there are sevral things that could of happened leading to the church being used by a satanic group. the most likely is that the church was hurting financially . each congregation is an independent body that makes financial decisions for them selves. My bet is that the church signed a contract renting out to the group with out knowing that the were dealing with a satanic group. try breaking the contract and evicting the group renting could be difficult.
