Just got my Kindergarten daughter's school photos. They were super cute as expected but also came with 2 complimentary "SmileSafe" photo I.D. cards with instructions on how to contact 911 to report my missing child courtesy of LifeTouch Studios and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. There's even a bar code and an account number. What the Hell is this??? A shopping list of non missing 5 year olds??? I'm really upset and I'm on hold for an hour with the photo studio. I'm going to demand they remove her from all affiliated databases. Head's up, moms and dads...this isn't right.

This isn't new. This was done for my children 11 years ago by Life Touch for their school photos.

Did it go away when they were 18? Or were their 4th amendment rights violated forever?

I remember them doing this all through elementary school for their photos. I don't remember it for middle school, but could have been done, I just don't remember. For high school, my boys did online high school from home.
I honestly didn't think anything of it at the time because I wasn't "awake" back then.
