Your only other option is to deny deny deny. But you can't really do that when the email server has been dumped. They did the only logical thing and it worked.
The other clue was when the guy stormed comet pizza with an AR: if that wasn't an intellence op, the DC cops would have fucking smoked him. The fact that it ended peacefully was the giveaway. The whole point was to paint a "deranged crazy white guy trying to save the children, and OMG look at how wrong he was. See, no pizza gate. That settles it. "
