Yes the models are pimped out to rich men. One former model resigned because of it and wrote a book. I'll try to find the link.

I would love to read that book, thank you kindly.

From this:

At 2:40 a model is talking about another model on set asking if it’s normal that her agent wanted to set her up on a date

At 3:14 Gemma ward who used to be one of the biggest names in high fashion says models can get lost in the world of prostitution

5:20 Adesuwa a big model in the industry current says it’s a good thing to start in the industry later on bc you can end up on a yacht with a rich older man doing drugs

Prostitution-modelling agencies. There was a book written by a European model. She said she quit the industry because she refused to get pimped out to wealthy men.

From memory, Karen Mulder did not write a book. She was dating Prince Albert. She then went on a tv show and claimed she was raped by royalty and celebrities. She was then whisked away by minders to a mental institution and has never really resurfaced since. She broke the code of silence. She has been labelled a nutter ever since. How can your reputation recover from that? She was reported as trying to take her own life, although I wouldn't be surprised if that story was spread just to make her look more loopy. I think she was the most beautiful of the supermodels (when 'supermodel' meant something). I have just found this which says:

VKaren, 33, said she was raped repeatedly by former members of her model agency, Elite.

She claimed she was forced to sleep with powerful men, including a member of a European royal family, to get better catwalk work.

Karen said people tried to kill her, and girls from Elite were used as sex slaves by senior figures in the police and French government.

Yw! CThere’s a number of supermodels that wrote books, I didn’t get that far cross referencing to VS models though. I’m thinking Janice Dickerson’s book is probably the most scandalous.
