So, Acosta privacy met Epsteins representatives and stuck a deal basically letting him off. Trump makes him Labor Secretary and now what Acosta did is common knowledge, Trump still defends him.

The theory is Trump is rewarding Acosta with helping to protect him and Epstein. So 16 years ago Trump said "Hey, Acosta, thanks for protecting me and Epstein. If I'm ever President, I'll give you a job."

Unless someone can uncover proof Trump paid Acosta, this theory is nonsense.
